its not a screensaver u move your finger and it makes a splash in the water and scares the fish.and you can choose different coulers of the water.i dunno why its moving without his hand on the screen.type in koi pond and look at anouther video you will see someone actully moving the water and stuff

This is shot using the iPhone simulator which is part of the development kit and iShowU screen capture software...

that isn't a real iPhone..  it looks better on the real thing. :)

I just bought the koi pond application. It's gorgeous and looks great on my iPod dock in the background. I really like that you can choose the sounds, colours, number of fish. Great.

I think this says a lot to those who are releaseing free apps: if people will have your app for free, they'll also have it for a dollar.

Users won't mind parting with $1 - they won't even miss it. But the dev/author will definitely notice. And everybody wins.

Think about this: would you pay $1 for each of the free apps you have? I know I would if it were possible and easy. This is the power of the App Store.

We actually tried implementing vibration on nibble with the 2.0 update. But the vibe is just too intense.

It was very jarring and totally broke the "feel" and "mood" of the application. It didn't feel AT ALL like a fish nibbling at your finger. It was more like someone just dropped a high tension powerline into the pond! :\

If at some point Apple provides a way to control the intensity of the vibe in addition to it's duration, we will revisit this feature.

It's not working for me. I touch the Koi Pond icon on my menu, and then it brings up the start up screen, and then it just goes back to the home screen. It sucks, I was really looking forward to this update.
