That's sad. I think that he needed to find a girl on his own. Since he was looking for someone who would like him for what he loved doing (rollerskating, raising money for non-profits, etc..) he should have looked around at the roller rinks in the USA and other countries for a nice girl who loved to skate. There are still plenty of rinks left and skaters who are not looking for a rich guy to mooch off of.

Patti doesn't understand that girls CAN like him for him...some girls don't want money or lavished in luxury but a girl might be looking for a guy with money because they are smart with money, stable, and business focused as well as ambitious. Now patti is on to something if this guy is just plain cheap regardless of how much cash you have, an effort is essential.
There are always going to be people who have other agendas (like in this guy's case--showcasing his movie) when coming on the show. One would think that with all the editing that is done prior to airing the episode that they would have figured that out. It is clear he really doesn't want/need a woman and women only are in the way of his goals (god forbid he accomplish goals while with one). Nothing wrong with that but it would have been nice if he didn't have to be so disingenuous about it.
