  • I think this is a good way for most musicians to learn all parts at once. I for one have perfect pitch and you were not flat for the soprano part because this song is however in flats not sharps so naturally you need to flat out your voice if you know what I am saying!? Try doing a more difficult song like Hodie, Christus Natus Est in five part harmony that is just like this then you would be able to understand that you can do anything in music.

  • I appreciate seeing the notes next to each singer! It helps when trying to learn all the parts at once!

  • Im te guy in da cristmas at :D Well wut i mean by tat is im an Alto in coir -And im missing te key were te letters are missing

  • You're a little creepy but I like the sheet music :)

  • @SceneQueen182 Haha, glad you liked it. Was it the sensation of seeing 4 people singing together who are all the same person that creeped you out?

  • Needs a bit work on soprano but other than that I like it :)

  • Ur flat on the soprano part

  • Woof, the soprano part needs work...he's flat constantly.

  • @THSChoir The other three guys were mostly on pitch. I'll have to tell the soprano guy to shape up or ship out.

  • That was great! Thank you

  • that was boring

  • hahah idkk whyy but at the last part where they say"bhom" lol it makes me burt out into laughingg

  • @dinosaursgorawr24 hah, maybe it's that it isn't a real word, or because it sounds like "bomb" and explosions are kind of a non sequitur with Christmas. Maybe it sounds too much like "bum".

  • @ebgineer haha idkk maybee andd they goo soooooooooo lowwww!!! lol (;

  • @dinosaursgorawr24 It's supposed to be 'dong'. D<

  • @AlexanderXmouse ohh i heardd bohm ahhh oh well(x

  • I like how you didn't try to sing way out of your range like most others do- guys trying to sing the soprano part in falsetto are enough to make my ears bleed. this was a nice, purely low note version of the song. well done!

  • @AyriannahOllivandra Thanks, very glad you enjoyed it! Also happy to avoid ear bleeding whenever possible. Not "way out" of my range is quite precisely right. The highest note or two are only slightly out of my range :) My method is to transpose to a key where I can just reach the lowest notes in the bass part. Then I adjust the octaves of the other parts if necessary to get them in my range.

  • @elfinmir lol

  • Maybe you could try and find a bass clarenet version of this?

  • @elfinmir Haha :) I don't hear the resemblance, but I guess I should be glad you didn't say I look like Mr. Mackey too. lol

  • my school is singing this!!:D

  • were singing this in chorus! :)

  • Hubbards doing this song this year too!:D Yay ilove this song&ilove being a soprana with the main part in this song(:

  • can you make a video of doing the parts seperately or this one but like one screen at a time. like only soprano/alto/tenor/bass?

  • @TheAwesomeRandomKid Hm, might be able to. It is the reverse of the process I used to make the video in the first place. I don't think it would be as interesting with separate parts though.

  • this song is amazing :D we're singing it in chorus this year :3

  • @uberfish911 Yes, it's my favorite Christmas carol. Is your choir singing a second verse or repeating the first verse?

  • @ebgineer repeating

  • @ebgineer we sing the first part twice. we are also combining the original carol of the bells with a jazzy version.... i wonder how that will turn out. i have faith that my music teacher knows what she's doing :) i really like this video though, most of the other 4 parts are not very good. you have a pretty amazing vocal range.

  • @uberfish911 Thanks, you're very kind! The jazz version is terrific. I have heard it although not combined with the straight version in medley form like you're talking about. If you can get a video of your performance, please post. I'd love to see it.

  • @uberfish911 us too :D

  • @uberfish911 us to

  • Please listen to the version by my net-friend CivicDude101, the late Rich Dellaposta. He used my arrangement for a multitrack trumpet quartet.

  • GREAT HARMONY

  • Simply lovely! :3

  • It sounds very nice and the video setup with the score on one side is nice, too. What do you think about making it a video response to the version from YouTube user bordonthestreet? That might get you a few more hits.

  • @Partyburner I love bordonthestreet's videos. Honestly his singing and the quality of videos are way better than what I can do. I could only find Silver Bells, not Carol of the Bells on his channel though.

  • Yeah, his videos are very nice, indeed!

And oops, my bad: I confused these two songs ...

  • this is a different version than i am singing the version i am singing the tenor goes much higher

  • @firewindice17 I did a bit of arranging. This is as high as I can sing it without falsetto, esp. the soprano.

  • sweetnesss :)

  • that was really good:) have a merry christmas and a happy new year

  • @stinkerbell1295 Thanks! Merry Christmas to you as well.

  • u made me smile. merry christmas frm manchester, england

  • @pacbizkit That's as much as I can ask. Merry Christmas from California!

  • On, on they send, on without end

Their joyful tone to every home

    (rest same as beginning)

That is the second verse. Really only an addition. Nothing lost.

  • Sweet. The second verse is prety much exactly the same as the first, really. Nothing lost. Still, cool.

  • that was awesome!! me and my friends are trying to learn how to sign that song but its hard without the second verse! lol! good job!! XD

  • @CloneCommanderAnakin Thanks! If you can get somebody to put a video camera on your performance and post it, I'd love to hear it. :-)

  • That was kind of funny...

    lol

    =)

  • Christmas is a joyful time, so is this song. Merry Christmas, and a happy New Year!!!

  • Very very nice!!! Wonderful!!!

Can you tell me please where did you get the second verse? I never saw it anywhere.

  • @niamyania Thanks for your kind comment. I couldn't find a second verse, so I made it up.

  • Cool man.

  • AMAZING....!
