Just bought one, it's going back. Novelty. It gets stuck ever 5 minutes. What's the point if you have to watch the vacuum and keep getting up to move it?
A robotic vacuum cleaner that runs every day or every other day leaves your house a lot cleaner than any super powered suction vacuum cleaner that you only use once every 2-3 weeks.
If you are the type of person who manually vacuums their home on a nearly daily basis then these robots won't do as good of a job -- although they do get under objects you can't with a regular vacuum. For most people these robotic vacuums leave your home much cleaner than any super powered suction vacuum.
I have used a robot vacuum in my place for years. Obviously the folks complaining above have never used one... I love going out and coming home having my main rooms vacuumed whilst I was having breakfast!
these are totally a gimmicky piece of crap. a real powerful vaccum is always what you want. you can move things like furniture and rugs, and get right into all areas. this thing is a sad example of what is wrong with modern attitudes.
These robotic cleaners seem lame. They have limited power, and apparently dont do a particulatly good job. Take a Kirby for example- that will suck sand and dirt particles from beneath your carpet... Basically, I just prefer a regular vacuum.

@jhwblender it will vacuum as much as it can in one charge, if it dosen't finish, it will recharge and finish after

So it doesn't do the corners of a room or right next to the walls - that's where most of the dirt and dust is.
