they are not regular, they are a force protection for airfields and raf interests, and train for that specifice role. the infantry train day in day out in closing with the enemy, i.e in afghan in the FOBs, basra city doing MiTTS. there is a huge diffence. units should be happy with there roles and not try make themselves sound better, everyone has a job.

Paras are air mobile army.

RAF regiment are regular infantry for the airforce, but normally they are better then regular army troops. They use RAF resources, and are RAF funded, which are great, because aircraft is so expensive.

All army infantry units are experienced fighting men because of their almost back to back deployments to the green zone, the RAF Reg are not generally combat experienced, they drive around Camp Bastion doing fuck all, that's the difference.
