  • can you put pets in them?

  • wicked awsome!

  • Now that is a cool addition to your bike, you could even use this on buisy roads since it is so narrow, very cool idea, wish I thought of it.

  • Yeah that guy is getting some hammering those trails not even on suspension nice!!!

  • This trailer looks okay for small loads, but if you want to see a trailer that can carry 350 kg and costs only about $30, do a YouTube search for "$30 bicycle trailer " Basically it's a hand truck adapted in five minutes to be attached to the carrier of a bike. With an extension it can carry an armchair or even a house door.

  • you can care two bags of shit with this, the shit you always wanted...

  • mountain biking with trailer scares me to death.

  • is this thing self-balancing somehow?

    looks awesome

  • How much is this and were can I get it

  • Thats great. A bob trailer that doesn't suck

  • I want one! Looks like a great product

  • Where can I buy one

  • @simontimon2 Just look up extrawheel and you should find it. it's extra wheel dot com

  • That shit is cool.

    I that shit for work.

  • methinks the BOB trailer have as more sturdy hookup to the bike. They are high priced +/- $300 CDN.

  • @jwiereng I had a bob trailer. What an overpriced piece of mild steel garbage. The cotter pin came out of one side, and the trailer flipped up there, bending the other fork and my axle QR. Garbage!

  • what a plan

  • jolie copie de la vidéo du site aevon bravo!!!

  • i could bild one myself

  • Is there any problem mounting this on a bike with rear suspension and a mud guard?

  • there is no problem

  • How do you keep people from stealing your stuff when going to store etc?

  • The wobble on the xtrawheel has to effect handling?

  • It does!! Big time!...... I built 2 bob style 1 wheeled trailers from a 250mile trek me and my mate did one time and the handleing is shocking even more when you try to stand up and peddle' Just takes time to get used to it. But still Better than a ruck sack.. :)

  • Next time, why not show them getting off the train instead of climbing out of a van? Most people would just continue driving to the campground with so much crap...

And perhaps the *girl* could do the off-roading and the guy wuss out?

Ok, ok. Interesting design with the large wheel. Good quality video, too.

  • That's a brilliant design :) Will it work with a touring cycle?

  • damn that extra wheel tyre is SOOO thin. wonder if you could change it for a much wider one

  • You can choose the wide tyre 26 or narrow 28 (700c). New tyres 18 are already wider

  • can't you buy a tire of the width you want(say 2inch thick or more) and install it?

  • Dang, I was worried more about the Dahon folding bike breaking on those trails than the trailer. I like the big wheel roll, which is the one thing I don't like about the Bob trailer. Big wheels rule.

  • Not to mention they had a massive car that could easily fit proper non-folding bikes! Though I do like the suggestion of arriving by train better.

  • They're heavier, but faster, and smoother over bumps

  • still too heavy

  • Ooo yeah, nice big fire next to the tent, I'd like to see what happens few moments later :-)

  • especially with their bikes right beside it. I wonder if rubber melts?

  • Yes, You can mount a normal rear pannier. All You need to connect Extrawheel to your bike is special rear skewer - it's included. Extrawheel weights less than 5 kg.

  • anyone know if u can have one and still mount a normal rear pannier aswell?

  • Now THAT's how you're supposed to test trailers!!!

  • problem with trailers for bike is they are too heavy. I'd stick with panniers. The trailers themself can weigh upto 15kg

  • "problem with trailers for bike is they are too heavy. I'd stick with panniers. The trailers themself can weigh upto 15kg "

yes, but weight of this one is below 6kg (including bags)

  • I agree. Cant beat panniers. One more concern I have with the trailer is that if you are going downhill, it is additional g force, which will put a lot of strain on your brakes. And you better be riding slow. Panniers are dirt cheap and effective.

  • yes , the bags are light , and i am half sure it moves when heavy load...

I 'm building one myself and i do many tests whith the cargo... As soon as you are more than 25 kilos.....

  • donde puedo encontrar una carcasa o guardabarros como el del remolque?

  • I wish I would have had this when I rode across the U.S. My spokes wouldn't have broken in the middle of the Utah desert!

  • Interesting ..all it needs is a suspension hub of some kind or something to keep it from going airborne as seen in some of the video .

  • I am also interested in what was actually in the panniers as well. It doesn't look their was much weight in them.

  • CAN I BAY THIS TRALER IN USA

  • Nice illustration film ,but i think bag probably loaded with helium!!

  • Yea! The way it flew over every bump gave that away!
