Wolf is a low tier character (check the tier list, he's a D). He isn't cheap. This guy playing Wolf isn't that great, but even a great Wolf can't beat a great Meta Knight.

to all those who say wolf is cheap: wolf is not without disadvantages. 1. many of his standard attacks suffer from stale move negation if used too much. 2. his attacks also have poor shield stun effects, making him easy to shield grab. 3. his weight makes him vulnerable to chain throwing and juggling. 4. while his recovery moves are pretty good, he has one of the smallest ledge sweet spots in the game, making him suseptible to edge-hogging. quit whining and learn how to beat him

Anyone who can take the least bit advantage of those facts will drive you nuts with Wolf. And what's up with his name? I can't get over that, Nintendo was so uncreative with him. I recon you havn't played any previous Starfox games? More notably Starfox 64? Apart from Falco Lombardi, Fox' team consists of Slippy Toad and Peppy Hare. It's the style they chose. It's a kids game.

Not all the names are like that, but many more are: Katt (a cat), Pigma (a pig), and in later games: Panther.

@DaddaOgg No, I played Starfox 64 many times when I was a kid. I enjoyed it, actually. Back then the names didn't bother me because creativity was not something I looked for-I just liked to blow things up with my lasers :3 But now that I'm in college I realize that it took Nintendo about half a second to come up with half of it's characters names...it is really disappointing to the point where it's just annoying. Also, I've seen plenty of adults play those games!

Wolf is really hard to beat when played correctly 1 on 1. Stay on one side and mash the laser, when they approach you do a forward smash or if they come from the air shield and grab them. Played correctly he is impossible to beat.

Matth used to be my number 1, but he was too predictanle and "floaty." Wolf isn't so fast, but his attacks have good range and come out quick. I use the side B to recover (especially after a spike) more often than up B. My main killers are down smash, bair, and dair. FTW

Wolf is my favorite character by far the only real complaint I have about him is his up B for recovery. Most people I know complain about his side B being a suicide move but if you learn how to cancel it helps. His spike move is quite nice once you master it and his Down B is useful for stopping big hits from even going off along with making you invincible for a tiny period of time. He is a heavy character that moves like a medium character what's not to love?

Wolf's down B only reflects ranged attacks, it never makes him invincible for any amount of time. He is not heavy he is medium.

Wow Onion..It's true he is not heavy. He is medium-heavy to be specefic but that doesn't matter. His down B does make him invincible for a few fraems, along with reflect projectiles and hurt anyone near. It has more range than fox's, but does slightly less damage.

Wolf is my best character, and if any of you want to insult him then you have no idea how hard he is to handle in the air. His side B attack is rough on small stages and his Up-B isn't one of the best. But he makes up for it with awesome regular attacks. He takes skill to use and if used properly, is one of the best characters
