Hi,

I am so sorry for your pain and sorrow.

It was always like the end of the world for me when any of my cats died.

I would grieve, and then after awhile I would get another cat. I know a new cat will not take the place of Billy, but after a while, you will love it, it will love you and your life will be better.

@PDSOTMF Anyone with decency will stop even if the cat is dead.  At least move the poor cat out of the street, then find who she / he belongs to and if the cat still alive, rush her/ him to the emergency and try to save her. That’s what a moral person would do, but this coward took off and never bothers to stop.

@PDSOTMF My dear accidents do happen to many of us, sometimes we can’t avoid no matter how careful we are, but the sad part about this particular case is that the driver didn’t stop to see if the cat still alive.

My heart goes out to you and to your sister. Billy reminds me of my Ralphie who was also killed by a hit and run. These precious babies are now in God's kingdom playing and dancing among beautiful flowers. It doesn't take the hurt away or the great loss you feel, but may it give you some comfort to know that Billy is in a wonderful place and still loves you very much. Hugs, Fawnie

I live in the country and some of my stray barn cats of seen their faith by a car. It still hurts me every time i have to bury one. I know what you are going through Pieceofmecute with Billy. I have had a dog and housecats pass too and it hurts. So sorry about Billy. R.I.P. Billy.

The hardest thing I had to do was when 2 of my cats got so sick and I had to put both of to sleep in the same day six month ago and not one day go by I don’t think of them, it hurts me so bad and now seeing my sister going thru the lose just tears my heart apart!! This is one cruel world we live in.
