@callofdutygod1234567 I agree, but if said subgenre of metal is based on copycatting and making money (hair metal bands made a TON of money), it doesn't have the heart and soul of metal in it. Anyone can buy a guitar and an amp and turn on the distortion. Metal is so much more than that; it's about being yourself and rejecting conformity, and stuff like this is all about conformity, considering the constant use of ripped-off riffs and the infamous breakdown.
