those are a form of modifides but there actually called emods here, our big block modifieds would rape these cars in a race or even the 358 small blocks would have a advantage there is a difference.

my home track is Flomaton Speedway yall should go its one of those tracks that are fast with alot of wrecks we had a street stock flip all the way down the front straight it was sick wunt nothin left of the car but the dude walked away with no medical attention :)

I.M.C.A.- International Motor Contest Association.. The IMCA modified racing in NE wisconsin is tough, we got some big time names up here including a super nationals winner

I'm actually from Plymouth, WI live down here in Indiana now. IMCA mods are big up der...but they're nothing compared to UMP mods. Even Wissota mods have more power than IMCA mods. Very good though. Hope you didn't look it up! :)

@JCaraway2010 actually - over here thats not even a legal racing car. Our modifieds are smaller have more power and bigger wheels.

we even have a maximum wieght limit - less than 2400Lbs,

we are pushing out about 800Hp with no gearbox - it all goes straight through a clutch - if it has one - to the wheels

we also have a length limit - less than 8.5 feet long

added all together we get up to about 130mph and above... on wet clay.

yours are still cool though.

Just because its got the same name - doesn't mean its the same thing worldwide - we change modifieds to suit New Zealand, American ones were just too big and slow for us.

If you think these suck! Why don't you try to go to a USMTS show sometime. Thay put on a good show at tracks all over the country and thay make alot of horsepower from just small blocks and the pay is good also!

USMTS Mods purses are huge, I seen $4,000 to win over a weekend plus an extra 10K for a full sweep, I'd say that's enough to keep yay racing.
