  • Ive been having a real creative drought recently. As ive gotten alittle older ive come to appreciate the connection my artwork has to music. In short i 'need' it to draw. Your work has given life to my pen. You have my gratitude and respect.

  • this is great music! being a huge tool fan this is right up my ally! and thanks for all the insight with the tool song interpretations as well,i learned a few things..best regards

  • @AleksMCS Amazing song, instrumentals are totally underrated, I only discovered you today but I really appreciate what you're doing. Especially hearing other people that enjoy Tool as much as I do, but don't emulate their music when they have musical talent. Thanks for posting this! Keep up the good work :)

  • Majorly awesome mood music thank you for being awesome enough to share with us.

  • @AleksMCS

    fuck that turd.

i like your work frenchy! i hope you found a band

  • Dude this is awesome you have to let me play guitar in the backround we have the same feel and rythym i can just tell trust me..(horns)

  • the wording you used might have been more confusing if by clicking on the previous video didn't take me to an original track that sounds like was influenced by tool. but...it did. so what you said made sense. whats the need to jump on people? it's unfortunate that some people don't take the time to understand. even if you were wrong about what you said, there is no need to call you a reject. cool track, i could definitely here the tool influence.

  • Very creative and interesting. You have talent.

  • Haha un francais! Cool mec continue!

  • Good stuff. I like it.

  • Good stuff. I like it.

  • I think there is a lot of talent here. Personally, I loved 1 through 30 seconds. It was flawless for my taste. Amazing. If you took that sound and put it through an album I would surely buy it. As for the rest of the song... it is definitely filled with talent. Got it a little rusty sounding and high pitched so it came off a little ear peircing... but that may or may not have been intended. Either way it's still talented and I think you have a lot of potentiel. Keep it up friend

  • Well I probably would have never clicked on it without the button on 21st Century, and I'm glad I did, so I don't mind one second you misleading people for such a beautiful song. Keep up the great work.

  • at first mesmerizing and disorienting

  • @AleksMCS dude, 21st century schizoid man was made probably around 20 years before Tool existed. the link said "original track inspired by Tool" what you mean to say was the original track was an inspiration to Tool's music

  • This is very cool, love it. the only thing i'd say is keep the same general idea add synth, drum machine with acoustic percussion overlay, and electric guitar possibly? and some cool vocals. I can see where this go, though.

  • where you from?

  • @damonliar

    france

  • wow this had me straight away

  • @AleksMCS

You still engaged in false advertising to get more views for your video.

  • This was linked in a video, 21st Century Schizoid Man cover by The Human Experimente. The link said "Original based on Tool song, click here".

Lies. You should be ashamed of cashing in like that you fucking 'tard. Not that I don't like the tune, I do. But you're still a reject

  • @FraggingBard Seriously?

If you got tricked by that, perhaps you should remember that KING CRIMSON WAS WAY BEFORE TOOL.

Go die in a fire, maybe they'll teach you music history in the afterlife.

  • @okuno54

You're also a reject. I know K.C. has been around for a long time, before Tool was even an idea. I was merely curious, who would say that it was inspired by Tool except for someone who doesn't know their bands.

So I clicked through and found something unrelated to both bands.

But I see that you're ok with marketing like that. Hence reject

  • @FraggingBard Oh, that makes sense! You weren't _really_ tricked, you just chose to appear so... <.<

  • its really well put together but then again am tryin to compare it to TOOL so i guess anyone would agree that ANYTHING would FAIL against TOOL

  • Dude. Make an album. I'm serious.

  • with drums this stuff would be epic.... its dope already..

  • where is the new album

  • PLEASE MOVE TO ALASKA! I WANNA BE YOUR DRUMMER!

  • rad bro

  • may i ask what bass you played?

  • @anthonyergo Ibanez BTB200, effects by Zoom B2

  • Are you looking for a band sir?

  • @syn5643 yes sir, I do. But I live in France...

whatever, cool tool covers on your channel, really liked it.

  • @AleksMCS Ahhh man, you sound like the perfect bassist for my project I've got going. wish I lived in Frace. Thanks a lot man. Would you be interested in some internet collaboration though?

  • sounds good. hit me up if you need a drummer. l.a. area .

  • Yeah ! Cool !

  • rad dude, keep up the music

  • This is amazing

  • WHO MADE THIS?

I WANT TO KNOW, PLEASE ANYBODY TELL ME

  • This is really good stuff... where can we find more?

  • this just blew my mind like mouth drooping it reminds me of tool keep it up

  • the start around 38 feels wrong. to sharp? too forceful? I'm not sure.

oddly the start around1:25 doesn't feel wrong.

    I do like this though.

ever thought about layering a half tempo something underneath?

  • very cool!!

  • im jesus fucking christ goddamm you

  • @jesus57863

    Fuck off then! :P

  • sounds very unique

  • Killer dude!

  • this $hit makes my eyes roll back into my head and reminds me of the Coachella show back in 98.

  • Absofuckinglutely awesome.

  • five stars :D

  • sounds great

  • Very atmospheric, well done

  • I really dig this track

  • Sounds very King Crimson and Tool like. Bloody good job.

At 1:30, how did you get the high pitch "chainsaw" like sound?

  • verry nice

  • If the strings vibrate awakens the mind is like breathing music for the soul. good job

  • Sounds very nice! I'm impressed with the quality you got out of Audacity.

  • i love it

  • i love it

  • I really like the beginning, for as nicely as it sounds it's quite basic. I thought the song would stick to that theme throughout. You should play with this tune, i'm sure it's great to jam. Actually i might want to try it out for fun.

  • Wicked. ;p

  • Awesome man. I'm all for effects on bass. I've been experimenting with the same stuff. Keep it up!

  • basic approval comment

  • @jambeany155 basic approval comment of basic approval comment with over-exaggerated implied laughter

  • This is just too amazing to be properly described...

  • Lovely! Only issue I had was the quick cut at 1:09. Otherwise I'm loving it!

  • I want this on a CD... I would pay a good price just to have this song on a hard copy disc.

    Best tune Ever.

  • good job ;]

  • I am amazed. Great job, for real *standing ovation*

  • BADASS is this for real you actually did this You Have Talent Bro!!!!

  • Nice. I nostalgia'd over the lateralus days.

  • awesome

  • Pretty cool

  • wow this is great. what is the painting in the background?

  • It's from Salvador Dali... can't remember the name of the painting

  • This is wonderful, you really can hear an own sound in it as well as influence (: I have to say you have all rights to be proud of yourself. I love it (: <3

  • talk about talent, this is amazing!

  • wow, tool definitely did inspire you. awesome, id love to lay some vocals for it.

  • this is fucking awesome! you have a drummer? i would love to make parts for these badass songs

  • how did you record this and get it onto a computer? what specific software or hardware did you need?

  • @twentysided effect are from a zoom b2 multieffect, then line in recording, recorded and mixed with audacity, that's all, can't be cheaper! oh, and a few patience too.....

  • thanks a bunch man this song is awesome btw

  • Really great crisp sound. Keep up the good work.

  • really really nice sound.

    Keep on rockin!

  • Where can I Download this? Its awesome,

  • dude this is amazing...you can hear the tool in it too....wen is their new cd coming out cuz they started making it a couple years ago and im waitin for it....btw your beast!

  • I keep hearing 2010 so keep your fingers crossed!

  • @Lisajo009 they usually wait five years between albums :(. I know, I want it now. The cool thing is that it gives the band time to mature and sound effect technology time to grow so their albums always have something new.

  • @Lisajo009 lol nope!

  • this is awesome you could hear the Tool influences clearly

  • Haha very Tool, you have done enough to be added my friend.

    Is your equipment listed?

  • Ibanez BTB200, multieffect Zoom B2, that's all!

  • I see, what level is that on? Similar to an Ibanez Sr535 or a Schecter Omen?

  • Nice,you're a talented bassist,get yourself into a nice prog band

The intro reminded me of Lateralus

  • someone listens to tool and king C. this is great, join a band... and write other members parts... or learn all instruments ether one.

P.S. thank you for posting human experimente 21st century. I found out about it yesterday and have spent like 30 mins looking when i though... youtube? (HA youtube has it's name underlined as misspelled.)

  • Thats really good man, i especially liked 1:30, and the beginning melody

  • Your using my riff ( 0:42 ) from my 1st version of LAEFE except your playing it on bass.. Interesting..

  • I dig it man.....I need to get back to Cincinnati & off the road from working & maybe we can do a few things together. I like what I hear, is this your only tune thus far or do you have some other stuff. As soon as I'm back in Cincy I'll hit you up-

  • Nice sound. Great effects. Keep it up.

  • I play bass as well. This is awesome. I could try to write some lyrics for it. I am guy though.

  • Epic man!

  • This is such a great sound!

    I like it.

  • thats kool

  • the distorted part is the same as the song 1.9.9.6. by afterhours (an italian band), but i actually really liked it. keep it up!

  • I just heard the song right now on deezer, you're right it's quite similar...

total coincidence, I've never heard about this band before today!

  • i totally believe you. there's just 7 notes after all, i mean it's easy sometimes to write music similar to already existing songs! by the way, i hope you'll record some other material, surely i will check your channel sometimes!

    cheers

  • The clean parts are amazing, my first thought was a bit like, "Oh shit this is actually really good!" The riffs were rather disappointing, you should make a version with the intro part extended, but keep it clean! And make it at least 10 minutes long ;)

  • Good work. Some very cool sounds coming out of your bass. Ever use an eBow.

One critique, tho, I found the riffing section less interesting than the rest, but that's me.

Check out my "Madness" if you'd like, at CBC Radio 3. Search: Will The Circle.

Keep making great music, and cool videos.

    g

  • u definitely have talent. Keep it up!

  • yeah!, I liked

  • Awesome. I absolutely love it. Keep it up man.

  • that was badASS!!!

  • wow! give me that mp3 :D

  • hey i like tool.. and this is pretty good.. nice work

  • yes

  • SWEET enough said

  • Kick ass man

  • Very nice...needs to be brought together a bit better...at some points the mood of the music is totally different than other points...and the transition from one mood to another is not smooth...but very awesome still

  • very nice. If you want to hear some more tool inspired music... visit myspace /temporaldissonance

  • (Bow) Amazing. Simply, amazing.

  • I'm interested in what amp/cab and outboard gear you're running. Sounds like GK head. Is this a blend of direct and live? What about your bass? Sounds really good tonewise and good playing as well. Cheers mate.

  • very nice bro. inspired me as much as TooL themselves.

-needs some Whammy action though just me 2 cents lol-

    but overall very well done

  • That's incredible! Congratulations....

  • Awesome...

  • Didn't see your message..?.. anyways this is Amazing!! Keep making these 5/5 great job.

  • let me update my post...this shyt is good, dont get me wrong...it goes off on a Kyuss tangent, which is also cool; meaning you have some really cool rifts, then odd ball off the wall shyt that dont fit, still sounds cool, it just changes the mood that you set previously...in order to really "zone out" or meditate, I personally would like to see it all come together better; you could easily make 2 or 3 bad azz songs with the different rifts you have created here...i still must say, it is awesome

  • I am a huge tool fan, i love the sounds they make...you have alot of good sounds; and various rifts that have good rythm and potential...they most certainly should not all fit on the same track though...the intro you have stages for something different ( which you did not produce in this track ) but would tailor off great with the last 20-30 secs of this track...play around some more; your rifts are good they just need to be used in other tracks....try melding the intro into one song that fits

  • Very good basis sounds!

    THX

  • sweet as hell I didn't even know that a bass guitar can produce so many different sounds... trippy , creepy and I love it!

  • Really good job man!

  • I like it! very toolish witch i like! if you need some lyrics let me know! peace and good luck!

  • bravo..nice jam!sounds like one of the ambient tracks between songs on Tool albums.really,a stellar job!:)

  • thanks man!

  • kool :)

  • good stuff. :)

  • Good

  • great sound i like the way you slid up the strings for effect and the rumble change for lack of a better word. Keep up the experiments.

  • Thanks!

  • nice
