Kudo's to Zenmaster Jackson for harnessing all the incredicle talent on this team to give us so many years of sheer poetry. They worked together like a machine and it was beautiful. I am a female and after watching this clip, I believe I need a cig! whewww....sure do miss me some MJ
MJ is without a doubt in my opinion better than kobe...but look at those stats and people always say "look at who kobe has on his team that's why he does so well, who did jordan have?"...ummmmmmmmm look at that line up.
Amazing. None of these players today deserve to even carry their shoes. It would have been fun to be Bill Wenington and have an on the court view of MJ and Scottie.
I felt bad for Reggie. Because of Jordan Reggie would have flashbacks of his sister Cheryl woopin the crap out of him when they were younger. That's why Reggie could never beat Michael.
the thing about it that I notice? MJ and Pippen are the only athletically gifted guys out there.. like freaky athleticism.. Today you pick up the 15th guy on the bench and he'll probably do a windmill for you.. just sayin
@danielpicci you proabably don't know that the mj's era are one of the most lopsided era ever, don't you? having 4-5 above .500 teams in the playoffs.. shit! every playoff team in the west is above .500 today, even the 9th seed.. you see 4-5 teams pull-off 9 game winning streaks simultaneously.. don't tell me about era because competition wise? that's not better than today.. you can make a case of physical defense, but team defense is way better and more orchestrated!
@2IAN4 Stating it was 'lopsided' is a poorly based and an unreferenced opinion.
To say Jordan and Pippen were the only athletic players is ridiculous. Look it up, and you'll find there were alot more. Id state my case, but there simply is no debate.
And to answer your claim re. the above 500 percentage, i havent researched it, but i think it speaks for itself. The league was different and much more competitive, making it harder to win.
@danielpicci No the league was not that competitive.. everybody was losing and there are only a few good teams that are probably guarantee to make the playoffs even if it hasn't started yet just by looking at the roster.. Mj ran away with his rings because Magic and Bird were old.. they had a hell of a battle.. the Magic-Bird Era ENDED.. and now here comes athletic as hell MJ who has Reggie and Malone as his best competition.. while Kobe goes head-to-head with Duncan, Celtics, just powerhouses!
@2IAN4 it doesnt make much sense to me when you say the league wasnt that competitive, yet it was easy to lose?? lol.
MJ never 'ran' away with rings. if anything the lakers ran away with their 3, as they faced the pacers and nets(!!)
If Pat Reillys knicks were playing now they would tear up the east. As would shaq and pennys magic. as would malone and stocktons jazz kill the west, or duncan, robinsons spurs. get it straight dude, do your history and look up what kind of game was played then.
@danielpicci do i need to explain to you the concept of monopoly or something.. there are a few teams that dominated each conference.. today, even the lakers were looking at the upside of not being no. 1 seed, because they wouldn't face the blazers who are still above .500 even the 9th seed Memphis still have a good record.. you get the point? teams have good records because the league is competitive and wins spread throughout!
Knicks? Starks and Ewing? tear up the Celtics and Heat? dumbass!
@2IAN4 At first i was going to leave this, because it really is a waste of energy. But as i said in a previous reply, i didnt research it, and your opinion was unreferenced.
Well i have now. In Mjs last bulls season 97-98, there were 18 teams above the 500 mark, in his 96 record breaking run, there were 16. Last year, there were 17 teams above 500.
but more interestingly, there were more teams below 400 last year (10) then there were in 98 (8).
@danielpicci Obviously he hasn't...he's 20 (so about 5 in 96) years old and by the looks of it all he can muster is to look up some standings and stats. He obviously has seen little of 90s ball to say that Jordan and Pippen were the only "freaky athletic" players when both are 30 or older here is idiotic at best lol.
hhunt u obviously dont know shit about shit. the music fits this game perfectly like how the jordan, pippen, rodman, and the bulls dominated reggie and the pacers. sick music.
Why wouldnt you leave the original sounds of the game you FUCKING MORON! I hate idiots like you who post amazing videos but then fuck it up by adding retarded music.. We want to hear it for what it is, not what you think is better! Cock swaB! For those of you who agree thumbs up on this right now!
@ukhan491 You apparently haven't reached a mature level in life..or puberty, one of the two..so keep writing ridiculous comments and telling everyone to F themselves and see how ya turn out
What's amazing about this video is that MJ scores 44, but you will not find 2 goals scored the same way. You see dunks; 2s and 3s spot-up; 2s and 3s off the dribble; transition pull-up jumpers; hook shots; post-up fade-aways; mid-range jumpers; drives finished with dunks/reverse layups/one-handers; offensive rebounds; pick-and-rolls; coast-to-coast 1-on-3; alley-oops; blocks; steals; assists... And all of these in just one game. This is why he's the greatest ever, just a joy to watch.
@ErasmusTheJew Great observation. As a player it is so easy to develop a tendency to score one way or another. If you a good shooter, you pull up mid range or hang around the 3 point line. If you are athletic u try to go to the rim. But choosing in every moment the best possible option to score and having the tools to do so, marvelous.
@ErasmusTheJew Great comment and observation. Jordan is the god of basketball. Anyone who plays basketball at any level, anywhere on planet earth, in one way or another tries to emulate Jordan's game.
@TheFatMack I disagree. He certainly is the most talented player in the Heat's roster, but I rather wait until the upcoming season is over to make a statement like that. Greetings!
@irod13 ok why do u dis agree since when was d wade better than lebron and since when has chris bosh even been named as a top 5 player so i dont know what you are disagreeing with
@TheFatMack Because the season hasn't start yet. This is gonna be a new team. The only players from last season on the roster are Wade, Arroyo, Chalmers and Anthony. Like I said, I rather wait to make a statement such as yours. Greetings!
@irod13 what does that have to do with it LEBRON was the best player in the NBA the last what 4 years hands down so why would he be the best player on what ever team he goes to what your saying does not make sense at all
@TheFatMack I'm not sure if he has been the best player in the NBA for the last 4 years, but I agree that he has been for the last 3 seasons. Like I wrote Lebron is the most talented player on the Heat's roster, but the best player will be whoever contributes more on the team. This is from every offensive and defensive perspective. I'm not disagreeing with you, but neither agreeing with you just yet.
@TheFatMack the fact of the matter is this won't be LeBron's team anymore. He won't lead in scoring, he won't lead in rebounds, he won't lead in blocks, he won't lead in steals. He will have to change his game a lot.
How can you possibly win when this setup with them pumping on all cylinders like this? Top defense, top scorer and top rebounder? Virtually impossible.
MJ never even won a playoff game without Pip. Pip took the Bulls to 7 games in 2nd round of the Playoffs and had a better regular season record without MJ. I will give both 3 championships each
yeah, but MJ went to 2nd round not because of Pip. MJ did great job in 1988 playoffs and made "the shot" in 5th game in 1st round. Pip was a bench player.
Secondly, Bulls from 85-87 were 8th team and it made them have to face the Celtics. One of the best team in history.
Third, Bulls had 57 wins only in 1993 doesn't mean they were a 57 wins level team, they played much more invincible than 1992.
That game pretty much summed up the 95-'96 season. It was a beautiful thing to watch. The Bull's confidence, especially Pippen's, was at another level.
mj is no doubt one of the greats of my generation. but to say he's a one man gang is ridiculous. think about all the threats the bulls had thru the years. pipen armstrong paxson cartwright hodges kerr luc longley salley grant rodman..etc if you look closely he had great teamates that came through when needed.
i mean look at this great players jordan played with and people say jordan did it by himself if i was one of these players i would take that as a disrespect they deserve the credit too it ain't all about jordan
starks23, shit this is crazy. this is directly from a guy who s 5 5 but do windmill dunks. I checked out the dunk training program over at 50 inch vertical (dot) com and gained over 13 ins on my vertical.
starks23 that is why love NBA even though it has its issues. I am following this workout system that's used even by NBA players - 50inch vertical[dot]com - I already jump several ins taller and leading my team on the court!
starks23 shit, I gained past 13 inches on my jump by completing the training at 50inch vertical[dot]com. now being able to dunk is nothing I have to be anxious about in a game finally, haha
@ArturB7719: well they did win 6 (six) chamipionships together. But this 1996 squad collectively was the single most incredible team i've ever seen and probably will see. I like the green hair personally of Rodman. Its like Ghostbusters colors. lol.
When they brought over Rodman to the Bulls I knew that they were gonna get so much better. There was no way that Rodman was gonna act crazy with Jordan and Pippen, plus Jackson is the most understanding coach of players personalities that I can think of. The second Bulls dynasty was so athletic and intelligent, there has not been a team since, there have been amazing teams, but none that posses such intense desire to win. Pippen, Rodman and the Goat we're only interested in one thing...winning.

Thank you for posting this classic, an absolute beatdown by Jordan and Pippen but the song almost drove me nuts.

How can you possibly win when this setup with them pumping on all cylinders like this? Top defense, top scorer and top rebounder? Virtually impossible.
NBAGOATS 1 year ago
MJ never even won a playoff game without Pip. Pip took the Bulls to 7 games in 2nd round of the Playoffs and had a better regular season record without MJ. I will give both 3 championships each
my97dodge 1 year ago
yeah, but MJ went to 2nd round not because of Pip.

Kobe's won a ring without shaq though.
RTR9 1 year ago
@RTR9 The Lakers traded one dominant center for 2. Don't forget that Kobe couldn't even make the playoffs without a dominant center.

@RTR9 but with Pau and Odom

That game pretty much summed up the 95-'96 season. It was a beautiful thing to watch. The Bull's confidence, especially Pippen's, was at another level.

mj is no doubt one of the greats of my generation. but to say he's a one man gang is ridiculous. think about all the threats the bulls had thru the years. pipen armstrong paxson cartwright hodges kerr luc longley salley grant rodman..etc if you look closely he had great teamates that came through when needed.

starks23, shit this is crazy. this is directly from a guy who s 5 5 but do windmill dunks. I checked out the dunk training program over at 50 inch vertical (dot) com and gained over 13 ins on my vertical.

mj pippen and rdman were sooooooooo in a class by themselves
razzle9438 1 year ago
starks23 that is why love NBA even though it has its issues. I am following this workout system that's used even by NBA players - 50inch vertical[dot]com - I already jump several ins taller and leading my team on the court!
mauricegriffin82 1 year ago
starks23 shit, I gained past 13 inches on my jump by completing the training at 50inch vertical[dot]com. now being able to dunk is nothing I have to be anxious about in a game finally, haha

Jordan/Pippen...best duo ever, no doubt!
ArturB7719 1 year ago
@ArturB7719: well they did win 6 (six) chamipionships together. But this 1996 squad collectively was the single most incredible team i've ever seen and probably will see. I like the green hair personally of Rodman. Its like Ghostbusters colors. lol.

man jordan and scottie iin the fortys they dominated the pacers

When they brought over Rodman to the Bulls I knew that they were gonna get so much better. There was no way that Rodman was gonna act crazy with Jordan and Pippen, plus Jackson is the most understanding coach of players personalities that I can think of. The second Bulls dynasty was so athletic and intelligent, there has not been a team since, there have been amazing teams, but none that posses such intense desire to win. Pippen, Rodman and the Goat we're only interested in one thing...winning.
