This particular song, made S.D. Burman to switch playback singers on Dev Anand from Kishore Kumar and Hemant Kumar to Mohammad Rafi. Starting with two songs(a solo and a duet) in Dev's production, Nau Do Gyarah, Sachinda embrossed Rafi in Kalapani, Kala Bazaar, Tere Ghar Ke Samne and Guide(except for the duet which was upon Kishores personal request) as his playback voice for Dev.
