  • 19 people arent emo

  • This is by far their best song off the new album,,,not too crazy bout the rest of it though.

  • I love hawthorne heights but their new stuff kinda went down the drain. Skeletons was a sickk album and then came Hate which im really disappointed with.

  • @koroxlover their new stuff? Skeletons is the new stuff if you've been a fan for any amount of time.

  • This song, and Four White Walls, mean so much to me right now. I can't stop listening to them. I'm so glad I got to see Hawthorne Heights in person as much as I have. @HawthorneHeightsVids your music keeps me going. Thank you.

  • Is this Fall Out Boy>?...

  • @xMischiefAndMurderx bad joke. fall out boy never got this aggressive. they were pop punk. these guys are hardcore.

  • i thought they faded forever .... i missed them ....

  • GOOD WORK HH<3 i love how people complain about missing their old music but come on now there starting a revolution this bands been through so much but they are still holding up their grounds there trying different things & they dont care what others think as long as there are fans for them in the end I've followed there music from day one and i am not the least bit unimpressed with them THEY ARE SIMPLY MY IDOLS AND AMAZING their lyrics get me through the days so STFU STOP COMPLAINING & LISTEN

  • this whole album is basically a big "fuck you" to haters, shit stirrers and all the awful things that happen in the world.

  • wow shes sooo pretty

  • Wow. Just wow. I haven't heard these guys since Fragile Future came out and things have changed. ALOT. The singer looks soo different. Not hating. I'm sure thousands still love them and that's fine. Just not my thing anymore, so I'll simply not listen. Goodluck to them.

  • @livesofthefreemasons They had an album "Skelatons" and that was with a different record company. This album is from their own label that they made themselves. Not sayin u gotta listen. They've been thru a lot and I'm proud of them continuing their dream and not quitting. They inspire me in a lot of different ways. (:

  • This guys should cover "A day in the life" by The Beatles

  • This song, and this EP in general hits so fucking hard. It has so much heart, and it oozes passion. Great song, great record guys. Keep the brilliancy coming, and keep coming to Terre Haute, Indiana.

  • HH is just as good as back in the day, they're pissed off dudes just like all of us, I bought this EP when they came to my town and love as much all of their others... I love the rawness.

  • wow kinda sounds like skramz ^_^

  • Good song but there's too many cuts for me to concentrate on it. I miss the old HH when they were with Wind-Up Records. :( I still love them though.

  • @MissNermal2 HI Wifey. I totally agree.

  • @MissNermal2 they were only in wind up records for about a year and in victory records for the majority of the beginning of their career

  • @shylovesCb I realized that about 3 to a week later. XD I just meant that they were better with an actual record company.

  • main two influences in this song... Emery and From Autumn to Ashes

  • It just sounds like a elementry bad now :// R.I.P.

  • @aaronThudson143 No they sound like a band that's doing what they want without the constraints of a label.

  • Great song, love the whole album, What's with the everlasting whining about casey and the band has no soul or heart. this band got better and better. skelletons was awesome and hate is even better. they sound amazing live! thumps up for making awesome music! and for all the noobs out there who keep talking about casey....stfu and move on with your life just like these guys did. nuff said!

  • I 100% agree.with parkway

  • Loving JT's guitar :D

  • So many people still love HH. and yet, they have still taken a HUGE step back, with cheap videos, small shows, and a lower fan base. When they came to my city, no one knew they were coming due to poor promotion, but the kids that DID come went completely nuts. This clearly shows how the Industry REALLY controls who gets big and who doesn't and not so much the fans that love the band.

  • @WGI5 the reason for the drop off isnt due to lack of promotion, its the fact that the heart and soul of the band died in 2007 when Casey died.

the thing that made Hawthorne Heights good was the combinations of the guitars, and then the soft vocals mixed with screams.

50% of that is gone, and the band refuses to replace it out of respect, which is fine and admirable, but they cant expect fans to continue to listen when they now put out crappy music, thats all.

  • Certainly not what I expected when I clicked on the vid.

  • i saw them last night, i also got to meet them, it was amazing <3

  • Used to listen to these guys in my teens, found out they're playing in Birmingham tomorrow night - going along with a friend for the nostalgia really. I don't mind this new stuff but really hoping they still play the older stuff that I was oh so fond of those many years ago!

  • @GeoffreyRobjent they played a load of old stuff last night :P

  • my fucking life

  • they are really good, and i support them totally, but it's hard to sound as badass as they do, and have a gold sparkly guitar xD hahaha

  • :O <3 holy shetttt, they'reeee backkkkkk(;

  • SEE THESE GUYS NEXT WEEK :D

  • Wow, I stopped liking them a long time ago due to teenage confusion, but I think I am liking them again.

And I actually like this new song and new sound quite a bit! Haha, oh nostalgia.

  • <3

  • anyone else feel un -explainably connected to there music?

  • @DoubleFlanged i do man

  • I think this EP was meant to release all their frustration. All the lyrics are harsh and angry. Or sad and lost. They lost one of their bestfriends, yeah they've had 2 albums since Casey died but they haven't had anything like this. They needed this. And I want it. :) Stop being hateful pricks.

  • @KatNightMusic THANK YOU,

  • They still list Casey as part of the band on their Facebook page <3

  • @TheScarebear111 Yeah they said no matter what, Casey will stilll be apart of their band

  • @VindictusChannel I know it just made me happy to read it

  • I really like Hawthorne Heights, but the HATE ep is just awful.

  • @hsodhsauidhaq obvious troll is obvious

  • @14palekid Obviously I wasn't being a troll since I said I liked Hawthorne Heights.

  • @hsodhsauidhaq how si it awful? to be honest, i think it's one of their best pieces of work as through the music and lyrics you can feel their anger/frustration/sadness...that's what good music does.

  • follow us (@Joecolbyslyce & @ericdickey) on twitter to show support for music video crews!!

  • i love hawthorne heights *--------------* I'm crazy for you ... I live in Brazil and want you to come here soon ...

  • This kinda of reminds me of their older stuff to be honest, I like it.

  • DUDE. I touched that guitar JT has at the show I went to! :D

  • wow! they brought screamo back into there music. kinda missed it.

  • they need to stick to writing pop punk :) like from Fragile Futures.

  • @realityorfiction Your opinion. Fragile Future was not their true sound and it is also not even the sound they started with.

  • @realityorfiction When did they write pop punk?

  • @puffie300 Fragile Future

  • this is fucking shit

  • @3dge7 this is what you get when you neuter metal.

  • I think they're going in the right direction musically and I admire them for still being here for us after all these years and all the bullshit they had to deal with.

  • Was this shot near Cincinnati, in Harrison?

  • I've seen them live 23 times, and I never thought this is where they'd be now. It would be a great song but you guys definetly need to cut that screaming out. its not right

  • THIS IS EPIC im going to the musica to see them in Akron ohio in November:D

  • fucking amazing!!

  • People are really still complaining about their sound? You just can't please people, I guess.

  • Love Hawthorne Heights, I love that they're going back to what they used to sound like, kinda. If they wanna change their sound, let them. I'll always be a fan, forever.

  • pretty artsy. i likes.

  • sounds like nirvana

  • people: NOTE: IF YOU DON'T MOTHER-FUCKING LIKE IT DON'T WATCH THE GOD-DAMNED VIDEO IN THE FIRST PLACE! JESUS! PEOPLE LIKE YOU HATERS ARE FUCKING GETTING ON MY NERVES! LISTEN TO THE SONG HATE! YOU KNOW WHAT I HATE?!? ASSHOLES GOING ONTO VIDEOS TO TALK SHIT!!! LOVE YOU HH!

  • this reminds me of their old shit, good times :)

  • Haha good thing i like grindcore lol

  • reminds me of Thursday, which is bad-ass

  • Different; not sure if I like it or not. Lyrics are good, I just dont understand why it sounds like everyone is off-key? There's always the next one.

  • oh, btw i love this ep

  • thank you guys for still making music and playing around the US, means alot!

  • This is fucking awesome. Looking forward to the next EP, SEE YOU IN DECEMBERS!!!

  • They're only loud and noisy for this album.....It's about being angry..I don't think when you're angry you're all soft and quiet....The other albums will be like their old stuff.....don't worry HH fans.

  • I dig

  • this Ep is kind of different, but Hate is the angry EP, so hopefully i'll enjoy the next two EPs more, can't wait to get tickets to see you guys in December :D HH for Life

  • Damn ppl quite with all the hating if you. Don't like it fuck and keep your comments to your self

  • Ugh.... Seriously, what has happened to these guys since Skeletons? They used to make music, this is just noise.

  • "Is this what you wanted" ...uhmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm no. God damn it, i want the old HH back!!

  • they have gone through hell and have become... more and more... i hesitate to use the word emo but depressed seems more like the word i'd use. skeletons was a weird concept album(about death) but this isn't exactly where they should have gone, where they are now is the point of suicidal depressive... kind of disappointing phase

  • @stuff60063 well since JT's mom past away and with casey it was dedicated to them

  • why are they going back to EPs?

  • random...

  • is it me or does it sound kinda like they have a brand new influence?

  • JT's guitar is shiny.

  • i kinda miss the old HH. i can get used to the new HH but its just not the same

  • who the hell is this? this is not the soft emotive hardcore hawthorne heights ive known and loved... i love them i just need to transition.

  • Why does there always have to be some scene girl? Anyway nice.

  • these guys are one of my favorite bands and this is NOT WHAT I WANT AT ALL. PLEASE STOP DOING WHATEVER THIS IS.

  • Now, I've been a fan of Hawthorne Heights for a looong time, way back from Ohio is for Lovers days, but what I heard from this and the entire Skeletons album, I'm not enjoying their music anymore. I'm not hating, just observing.

  • I. LOVE. THIS.

  • you guys r still asskicking good!!

  • Just wanted to mark that i'm 143....

  • They've gone through hell and they're still doing what they do best. They are dedicated. I adore them for that. I am a HH fan and always will be.

  • @tinaieroway i totally agree with you there HH fans forever! <3

  • filmed in troy?! hell yes. i'm from an hour north of dayton. it's so crazy watching this because, all the corn and all the ohio-like scenes make me feel like i've been on that exact road before. i love the filmography of this.
