It's REALLY a stretch to believe that you get a swear word out of this thing. Actually the software blocks out attempts at making swear words and says, "that tickles," or something.

I picked one of these up today, managed to work out a strange loop and also pitch bends. It was a pain to find them though. Stupid fuckin caterpillar!

Yeah, I added the eyes, it's acrylic paint with clear nail polish over the top. The fangs are plastic fork tines.

That's excellent! I've seen those things around a bunch and have thought about bending one, but it always seemed like it might be a pain to mess with. Your posts kinda confirm that, but the video makes me want to try nonetheless - nice work! Great paintjob as well - I assume you did the eyes?

2) There is a thin layer of plastic film running in between the body segments that carries circuit traces. DETACH IT FROM THE FRONT IMMEDIATELY. Otherwise, you'll end up breaking the traces and lose the back leg buttons.

This toy was a pain in the butt to bend, I ended up going through three of them before figuring it all out. This one is cobbled together from the best pieces from each.

1) All three versions of the toy had different circuitry.  The one that swears is also the one that bends. Some will say "Ha ha that tickles" between the "F" and "K" sounds. The swearing ones that have surface mount components are the ones to bend.
