Noorjehan Begum was a popular singer of Radio Pakistan in the fifties sixties. I used to book her and the others such as Shahjehan Begum, Manzoor Jhalla, Salim Raza etc. for Engineering University's famous annual music stage shows. It was a glorious era. Mehdi Hasan a new comer snag for two days at UET in mid-sixties.
