In my experience with signal mountain.... The players have been somewhat hood sports and their fans are just obnoxious and it's a pathetic sight to see. I would be ashamed of them if I was their parent

that is what happens when you go on the road and win a big game. trousdale county showed no class in this response. they would have rushed the field if they won. it happens in basketball as well. they just need to get over it. all that matters now is that signal mtn is still practicing and trousdale county is sitting at the house. and i hope signal mtn takes a detour back through the county after they go to cookeville and win that state championship. go eagles

Fans of both teams are in the wrong. Firstly, the mascot should not have been tackled; that has just created unnecessary stress and pain on him and his family (not to mention the immature insult slinging). Secondly, TC fans should not have jumped to conclusions about the SM fans wanting to plant a flag on their field. However, that being said, SM fans should have acknowledged the requests of the TC coach, and I'm assuming there was already poor communication

@garrettm91 correct about the communication. im in the signal mountain band, and no one knew about the false rumors of us planting a flag in the field, or that we werent supposed to run the field. now im not sayin TC is all to blame, cz there was deffinatly part on us too. I think it was blown way out of proportion.

between the two teams. If he didn't want the students storming the field, the SM adults should have made it clear to the students that it wasn't going to be tolerated. Also, the students themselves should have been more respectful toward the TC adults. After all, we were guests on their home field.

No one told us to stay off the field because you guys didn't think you would lose most likely. And we have never "planted" a flag in a schools logo. Those are just false rumors being spread so you can try to justify yourselves when really there is no justification. We wanted to tell our players good job, not impale your stupid logo. My friends and I also like to bow our heads to the other team to and tell them good job, but clearly you can see that didn't happen for this game.

Our principal is a harsh guy. If they told him to NOT let us on the field he would have NEVER let us go out there, and that is a fact. That's how teams have done it for years. Police officers told the students to stay off the field. Signal's principal was told to keep students off the field. This has been confirmed by Signal fans. If you are going to try and post logical comments on here, you should try and spell the larger words correctly. Signal has been showboating after their games all season. Signal's principal had been warned to keep their kids off the field cops were even there telling them to stay off the field. Signal had been asked politely to stay off the field numerous times as well as warned. Trousdale's team never interfered with nor spoke to the students despite their classless showboating. Sore losers coming out of the crowd only after the classless winners stormed the field despite being asked/told not to.
