  • Mark: can people even comprehend what humanity will be like?

Dave: I think we all be dead.

    I love that! so funny!

  • wow that 20 seconds of wierd reversed music at the intro is probably the strongest contribution to where i want to go with my music.

    thanks again mark

  • 4:45 Damn it! I'm in the year 1985 and I was hoping that the year 2000 would be exactly like Tempest 2000! Well now I'm pissed, I'm going to listen to my Flock Of Seagulls records to calm myself down.

  • 3 people were denied access to this top secret episode of Classic Game Room.

  • @catclaw357 actually if you look closely enough, those 3 people were put through a series of tests designed to give them better taste. they've gone from dreams within dreams all the way to the mountains of space.

and have finally reconsidered and pressed like. that's why we're at 53

  • I don't know if this review is brilliant or horrible. Probably both.

  • I miss dave he was awesome you should do another episode with him for old times sake

  • I like this alternate cut of the review better.

  • "We can't use Melt-o-vision in our shows.

    Sh*t." Lol XD

  • There was more than just one game that made th Jaguar a decent system. Alien Vs Predator, Battlemorph,Cannon Fodder, Defender 2000, Ultra Vortek, Super Burnout, Iron Soldier, Doom, Wolfenstein 3D, Rayman and a few others. Its not like the system had a lot of games to begin with but they could review more games from the Jaguar library.

  • Defending a system because of one okay arcade remake is hardly logical.

I don't see the appeal of it personally, although it reminds of Frequency and Amplitude on PS2. Those were entertaining curios.

  • Tell me, was it IGn that shoved that giant bug up your ass??

Chile man, this is the Game Room, a very casual lade back internet show that you can both learn a think or two from with professionally recorded videos having also had a good heartwarming cheap laugh or two.

  • Eh? I made a casual statement about my not finding this game particularly interesting, and said that it takes more than one fun title to make a system worth owning. I meant it as a gentle piece of constructive criticism, although looking back I can see how my words were misconstrued.

  • I'm sorry I ever disrupted your gentle and delicate criticism.

  • I'm sorry I ever disrupted your gentle and delicate criticism.

  • I could be wrong, but that sounds like sarcasm.

  • Yeah it was.

I'm sorry I'm being such a jerk to you.

Really I am; no blaint sarcasm there.

  • When I get confused, I tend to assume what I want to happen is happening. Therefore I assume that's a genuine apology, even if there's no guaranteeing it.

  • The worst part of the Jaguar are it's die hard fans, I mean, this game is cool, but just that its a good game, but I'm almost certain that this was not the last time that Jaguar fans wrote to them, I've seen so stupid acts between them like saying they are the only ones that can praise their system, well yeah, nobody wants to do that on that piece of shit, it does have its good games but I can use the fingers in one hand to count them, the ID ports suck also.

  • that was great funny as

  • The original Tempest came out in 1981, but Tempest 2000 did come out in 1994.

  • now go get my motherfucking beer

  • Awesome original review there, I bet your wives didn't watch this one though, eh? Heh heh.

  • Lmao. Best CGR yet

  • ADD is the blight of intellingence everywhere.

  • Intellingence is, of course, completely different to intelligence.

  • I'm glad Mark brought the Game Room back. I miss Dave, but there are several reviews Mark did recently that were awesome. It's pretty cool to see another original and Kasumi Ninja was actually the first Classic Game Room I watched hahaha so I really like that one.

  • Kissa-my-assa-ninja? LOL Great line from Dave! That review was a riot in itself. As for this clip I think this is my one of my favorite things about the "rebirth" of the game room (and of course the new HD series with new reviews). I LOVE the secret/behind the scenes stuff. Maybe a snoozefest to the newer viewers? But as a fan since it was new in 99 I just LOVE it. My hats off to Mark for reviving the series, I as a huge fan couldn't be happier and I really enjoy all the new goodies! Thanks! :)

  • Glad you're enjoying it, although Dave certainly gets the credit for the funny lines in that episode! -CGRHD

  • Loving life Mark! I only dreamed of the day I'd see new reviews and we have that with your HD series which I love. And to see all these old episodes again after all these years and laugh again I just couldn't ask for more! :) A big dream come true for an old time fan :)

  • @Rep2369 im relativly new to the whole thing....never had internet 10 years ago haha. but yeah it is a cool review, as they always are

  • @Xegethra well by relativly new i didnt really watch these reviews until a couple of montsh ago....however iv had the internet for like 6 years now

    i love retro games....

  • @Xegethra It's all good! New or from way back when it never lost it's entertainment value! I bet Mark and Dave both are quite happy that people even 10 years later are watching their old work! :)

  • @Rep2369 yeah, their old stuff is really good. i do enjoy it a lot, and mark still going on with it is also a cool thing

  • in the yearrrr... 2525,,, iff maaaan is still allliiivvvveee...
