@kaza12345678 in signle player, you can sqitch between what you are given, example, (in thinking of the first one i havnt played this one) lets say near the end of the game, on a level, they give you 2 subs, a battle ship, 3 destroyers, and an air craft carrier , you can freely switch to whatever you want, also make planes and fly them off the carrier, when you stop controlling one and go to the other, the computer takes over for you

Ah what a shame mate. I think you would have enjoyed them. On Xbox there is the Command and Conquer series. But RTS's are not native to console gaming, therefore many devs chose the PC platform. But there are some on the market.

Battlestations needs a game in the European theatre. The Rotal Navy was the best navy of the era and it's barley represented. Also the German navy was very strong with ships such as the Bismark and Graff spee. And the prospect of re enacting the battle between Hood and Bismark would be awsome.

@MrDeano324 the taranto harbor attack would be fun to play, the Brits got the idea from the pearl harbour attack, also providing support for commandos raiding the norweigen coast, convoys, and being the first sub to hit another sub with a torpedo. they could also have allied bombing campaigns and battle of britian, and i think they should have an alternate German campaign where Nazi Germany defeats Britian (Hittler could conquer then North Africa) and Russia and later conquers China with Japan.

Exactly my point. This game needs to be taken to the european theartre to expand the franchise. The only problem with your idea of an alternate nazi campaign is that eventually it would have to take you to the pacific because Hitler wanted to take over the world. And if he had already Taken G.B, China, USSR and N.Africa as you say..why would he stop there insted of invading the U.S and Canada. Hence the crossing of european and pacific theatres.

lol so British campaign: your ship insta-dies. The rest of the game you get to fly a biplane that goes 80 mph.

German campaign: you insta-win vs Hood, then for the rest of the campaign get chased by airplanes and then you push the button that sinks your own ship.

German campaign bonus mission: Tirpitz. you spend all game sitting in port and watch while the British try to bomb/ sabotage/ sink your ship.

Yeah your a little confused it would appear. British ww1 era swordfish bi-planes started the final attack on Bismark. One of the Swordfish's torpedo's hit Bismarks rudder and she was unnable to turn. German Admiral Lütjens sent a message to Berlin stating "Ship unmaneuverable. We will fight to the last shell, Long live the Fuhrer." As this happened, HMS's King George IV, Rodney, Norfolk and Dorsetshire closed on the crippled Bismarck and delivered the killing blow.

@vegitibles Something like Battlestations Europe would be nice. Midway and Pacific both cover the Pacific theater & have similar aircraft associated with them. There are other WWII combat sims out, but they're either soldier FPS or fighter planes (which I have no problem with fighter plane part), but the opportunity to multi-platformed in the European theater would be nice...especially if it added some ground warfare with tank play. Not to mention sub warfare possibilities. Would be nice.

this game was ok but i prefer Heroes of the pacific I found more enjoyable. I hate how the plane for no reason keeps stalling on me making it frustrating. Unless I'm doing barrol rolls or climbing strait up, I should have to deal with a stalling engine. The online was pretty fun tho but I only found one person to verse. this game could use some improvement but other wise good.

Pacific was a serious failure over its predecessor Midway. The new overview map is much too complicated to maneuver unlike Midway. And the regenerative health of ships along with the use of points to deploy units instead of preset units completely eliminates the strategy of Battlestations.
