  • Worked perfectly. Just use two candles. nothing genius about it. you don't needs cords or any of that crap. Thanks so much!

  • I don't like those dark ritual games, it scares the shit out of me! I mean, dude! Look at those summoning candles! Please, stop playing that! You are only making apocalypse come sooner!

  • Its true that any bright light source can attract the Wii Mote, but one very important question: how do you connet the candles to the Wii?

  • Hey that's pretty cool!

  • this happend to me but ...

the sensor bar wudnt work , but when i had my living room lights on and pointed the remote in the mirror it worked when the sensor was wasnt even on :L

  • Yeah... my parents are a little bit stupid and irrational... they don't let me do that. My sensor bar got fucked up be my cat.

  • it is nice, if you could print on some pictures or photos on the candles it will be more pretty. i found one company have this type of candles and they have printer could do printing on candles. you could found them on 3W sinounic com

  • my fathers wont let me do that, they say "too dangerous" -.-

  • You have two fathers?

  • lol

  • Wait a minute, how is a person born out of two males?

  • u hav 2 dads?

  • the sensor bar emmits 2 blobs of infred light, not 4

  • Oh yes it does emmit 4.

  • what if i just lit my whole fucking tv on fire?

  • i did it too dood it works even woth the lights on

  • how comes its not working for me then !! what am i doing wrong, my chinchilla bit through the wire so has had it.

put the candles on top of tv and nothing, they r only tealight candles do they have to be big candles

  • Duuuuude!!! I almost burn my entire house because of your idea man!!!

  • Forgive me if I sound like an idiot here, but do you reckon it would work if you had two people stood there instead of two candles? lol. Then again I guess people are too big... whereas candles are nice and small =]

  • turn on the lights? are you retarded. the only reason its working is because its a candle and its attracted to the light. retard.

  • you sound more retarded

    whats attracted

  • For whatever god it is you believe in I hope the majority of you aren't older then 10... You learn the electromagnetic spectrum in what? 5th grade? I think that's when I learned it.

  • @Runningblind0913 and they bang it into your head again in ninth...

  • You should turn on a light. Then people have no reason to believe that it's fake.

  • omfg its real but yeah i unpugged blew candles out and it works with the tv light in the dark!!!

  • doesnt work really well but.. cool idea ;D

  • how do you connect them to the wii

  • lol.

the wii bar is only a source of infrared light. it doesn't receive any data. The cable is for power. Candles also produce infrared light. This is why it works.

  • so what your saying is all you need is 2 bright lights either side of your tv?

  • Not bright lights, just Infrared light.

  • Candles don't work very well, though. Unless you use really bright ones.

  • wow it works O.o, it is real folks, i used my birthday candles

  • I can't wait to get my Wii tonight, and I'm gonna try this.

  • This is real u fags

  • very very cool. Is there any purpose then for the actual sensor bar cable, other than for juice?

  • nope the remote does all the information stuff all the sensor bar does is shoot out plain old ir light and the wimote bases its position on that. So candles work fine as a replacement

  • That's what I had figured. I knew the bar was for triangulation, I just haven't been able to take a good look at the back of the Wii yet. :(

  • Tarv, you just proved that you are an idiot. Go try it out yourself. I did, and it works. (I also took a video of it.)

  • so did i

  • read about it on ign its real

  • Lawl

  • I just tried this, it works. You unplug the sensor bar and just light candles at least two of them.

  • Even if this works, how do you get a cable to the candles? The wii has to use that sensor bar outlet on the back to even get a signal from any ir sensor.

  • umm, no? candle cables wtf? lawl

  • actually, the sensor bar doesnt sense anything. the wiimote senses the IR emitted from it, and triangulates it's position, then sends that to the wii via bluetooth. the cord from the bar to the wii is for power.

  • i heard the sensor is in the wii controller. The sensor bar just had ir led's in it. I could be wrong though

  • T_T; all the bar does is shoot IR beams. The Remote is the sensor.

  • what it, the cable, does is just send a power surge to the sensor bar to power it up. All it does is send out IR beams so that the wiimote can sense the motion. Having 2 candles like that will work just as well because the candles will act as a substitute for the IR beams from the sensor bar. The wiimote only communicates with the wii wirelessly, not with the sensor bar. The wiimote will work like that just so long as you have 2 sources of IR that it can sense as guidelines.

  • @tatsumaru12345 anything is a sensor anything the sensor bar meat lights to the remote and than the remote works

  • AHAHAHAHAHA

  • Go try it first, and stop laughing at yourself for being so stupid.

  • goth gamers?

  • DOES IF WORK WHEN THE LIGHT IS ON

  • Yeah, It does.

  • how coool :D

  • awesome
