  • These guys are great.

  • Two of the most underated guitarist ever!!!!

  • @jimmysally There are guitarists playing? :) IMO, they're 'meh' at best. Not a lot of elegance, just speed.

  • Saw Night Ranger 2 times when I was in my teens ( early 80's)...Good Memories :)

  • i agree wit all ya I MISSSS my 80s lol

  • Still saying WOW after all this time!

  • 23 people have no-one to love them...

  • Best music ever!, the 80's and 90's, there are a few good today not much in my opinion but there are...but somgs and groups like Night Ranger RULE!!!!!

  • Yes, the 80's were great, this is some good stuff! Along with Toto, Journey, Ted, Survivor, and many more, not to mention Damn Yankees!

  • One of the TIGHTEST, most AUTHENTIC bands LIVE.

  • The best Dick Clark Rockin' New Years Eve was in 1985 when these guys played this song....AND ROCKED

  • I from american dad XD

  • @martwig98 I just turned 50 and you should go back to all the 60's , 70's and 80's.To bad you weren't there, but u can still go back and enjoy the great music back then,it was a great time.Todays music is terrible.Maybe start out by listening to Procol Harum's A Whiter Shade Of Pale..1967.Wow what a great era.Make your generation a good one.

  • Saw these guys in the '80s as an opening act. They would invariably BLOW away the Headliners....Watson/Gillis were quite the duo!

  • Dont tell me you love me.just suck my Di**! Haha

  • Sweeeeet

  • Jack blade is phenomenal along with kip winger lots of energy the song is most definately 1 of my favorite songs can you imagine A female vocalist doing this song well she does it and it sounds great that girls name is Theresa vaccare Jamison with her band or should I say 1 of my bands I've got the stage presence to b able to do this great song thanks 4 writing this hard rockin kickin ass song 1 day I will send u guys a video of probably the only female vocalist that does the song DON'T TELL M

  • 80's queen music was better back then....

  • 41 years old and a sucker for dueling guitars!!! Better than sound effects and drum machines on the new pop music.

  • OMG I WAS 24 BACK IN 1984, I WISH I COULD LIVE THAT AGAIN!!!!!!!

  • Saw them last a few months ago with journey and foreigner. I'm 13 but like my parents stuff lol

  • Amazing Solos _\,,/

  • Saw Night Ranger open for Sammy Hagar in March, 1983. Even at age 12 I was already rocking. :-)

  • Those dual solos are still fresh and incredible almost 30 years later. Brad and Jeff...HELL YEAH!

  • Strange stage set up with the drummer off to the side.

  • @SotR59 It's because the drummer sings lead on some of their songs. They have always set up the drums at that location.

  • @b1naryd1g1t5

I can understand that but I've seen lots of bands where the drummer sings but they still set up in the tradition way. But what ever works for them.

  • Yea I remember these guys when I was a kid, listening to this brings back some sweet memories.....total guitar gods. This music STILL KICKS ASS!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Bad Ass in your face Music!!!!!! Night Ranger!!!!!!!

  • It's like an 80s version of Deep Purples Burn. Man I love it!!!!

  • Sorry about that what I meant to say wad

  • @zombiekiller352 for starters

  • Jack Blades is the coolest name ever

  • Lol I could have been conceived to this song.

  • Sorry but the cameraman really suck at the rock palace

  • KIDS...Now thats the way ITS DONE

  • Great rock!!!!

  • A most outstanding contribution to the rock nation!!!! Night Ranger rules!!!!

  • I love this song.My father use to always rock out to it and now i do.Such good memories.:)

  • OK, I promise just one more Night Ranger, but check out Jeff Watson on lead guitar. Left Ozzie to join these guys.

  • To have two great guitarists like that, this is why I love Night Ranger.

  • cuando los 80s allan pasado de moda avisenme para suicidarme!

  • VH1 Nº 92 LIST ok es muy rokero

  • this first LP was just unbeatable!

  • How is it that I am 41 years old and haven't seen Night Ranger?

  • @thestrawhead Gosh man i saw them twice in puerto rico and i love every minute off it..im 44 n i think the 80's are THE BEST THERE IS,THE BEST THERE WAS AND THE BEST THE EVER WILL BE............................

  • @thestrawhead lol im 18 and ive seen them

  • great band live, sound the same as in the studio, 2 great singers, 2 great guitar players, a super band, too bad jeff isn't with them,

  • Saw these guys in St Louis in 84 opening for Sammy Hagar (VOA Tour) and they rocked the Checkerdome (Arena)......awesome!

  • wow like my father allways say "Remembering is living".Man i remember those great 80's days,i saw them in Puerto Rico in 1983 when i was 16 and then i saw them again when they came back and Rock the Island of Puerto Rico in 1985.With all the respect of the world for the 90's and todays generation but so far the 80's where the best days ever in life...80's ROCKS!!!!

  • Watson's solo is sheer, unasailable, unrivaled MAJESTY!!! Bow before the RANGER!!!

  • Wish Watson was still with them today!! What a great player, i prefer him off Gillis. Just my opinion.

  • @bassmanjoe Dont sell Brad Gillis short. He is wickedly good and original. I saw a recent show of his where Brad played all the leads, including Watson's. If you closed your eyes, you woulda thought both of them were on stage soloing.

  • @believer06 I thought the new guy played all Watson's leads?? Iv'e seen it on youtube. But yeah i admire Brad alot, i just like Watson's leads more.

  • @bassmanjoe Yeah the new guy in Night Ranger plays Watson's solos. I was talking about Brad's solo band. He had his own thing going on before Night Ranger got back together. The band's name was Hot for teacher. Do a search for "HOT FOR TEACHER with Brad Gillis!" It's the top vid. There is another guitarist in it I just noticed, but Brad plays Watson's part and the other other guitarist only harmonizes the tail end of the solo.

  • Night Ranger = Another Underrated Band. Two phenomenal vocalists in Blades & Keagy AND two phenomenal guitarists in Gillis & Watson. Most bands are lucky to have one guy that's great at anything.

  • they still use the same guitars!! :D

  • By the gods I wish it was 1984 again, but knowing what I know now.

  • @brat46 If you go back, can you buy me some Microsoft stock?

  • @brat46 I, TOO, wish it was 1984, AGAIN! In my opinion, SURE BEATS what we had or "had to put up with" in 1994-OR LATER!

  • @brat46 ,,yea me too,i`d be 32 again...

  • @brat46 ***Amen

  • @brat46 Amen Bro, AMEN!!!

  • @brat46 Big time! LOL!

  • @brat46 I so loved the 80s as well, I want to go back as well!!!

  • @brat46 Youth is wasted on the Young! yea, I Know!!

  • Gillis + Watson = great guitar duo!!!

  • One of the best rock guitarist combos ever. Watson and Gillis were monsters!

  • @AcousticManiaxe: In an age of amazing players, Watson & Gillis were a MONSTER duo. I still play along to this song with my Jackson. =)

  • Haveing a drummer and bassest that can sing and gave two great guitarest who are do over looked and great keyboradest make fir a great sound

  • This song brings back so many memories! Awesome music - and Jack Blades being adorable certainly didn't hurt. They still know how to rock after all these years. So glad they're still touring!

  • what a kiss ass song!,1983,great year!

  • THE GUYS ROCKED LAST NIGHT !!!!!!!!!

THe comcast hartford CT 8-25-11 ,

  • AWESOME!!!! Great memories!!!

  • I saw night ranger and journey in feburary. I instantly fell in love with this song when they played it. I'll be seeing Journey, Night Ranger, and Foreigner in October. :)

  • @mclaSWATpd I'm going too. Gonna be my second time seeing Foreigner and my first seeing Journey and Night Ranger. Highlight of my life lol

  • love this song!

  • now that's a deadly guitar duo right there son.

  • good song

  • It's quite obvious that some people are just clueless. If you don't know anything about music, then you shouldn't post your nonsense. Any real musician, whether they like Night Ranger or not, will tell you they are very talented. There is a lot of music that i don't care for, but I still respect some of the artists on a talent level.

There is a lack of talent in most music today. Night Ranger Rocks!

  • Brad Gillis = another underrated guitarist

  • @oplivecrime206 Jeff Watson= another underrated guitarist also.

  • @oplivecrime206 It's just so f#*kin GOOD !

  • @oplivecrime206 guess you werent around in the 80s. He was very well known and popular back then when it counted. Anyway, i miss when musicians actually put effort into their playing and wrote great tunes. 80s was the best time for rock and metal.

  • @oplivecrime206 He is pretty good. Played with Ozzy immediately following Randy Rhodes' death. That often gets forgotten, when people talk about Ozzy's guitar players.

  • @oplivecrime206 OZZy asked him to replace/fill in for Randy!!! He's not under-rated by any means!

  • @oplivecrime206 totally agree

  • @edgrrrrr76 You are a real dumbass. You wouldn't know real rock in it came up and bit you. You probably listen to Britney Spears.

  • I swear i've seen that dude at 1:05 before on Deadliest Catch!

  • @edgrrrrr76 I can see you are a generic person based on the statement you made. It makes sense.

  • seen them in 85 one of the best i have been to....damn im old

was hoping they were coming back to Bama would love to see them one last time

  • @bamaoutlawxxx I saw the 7 Wishes tour and the Midnight Madness tour, plus I have Dawn Patrol on vinyl. I wanted to see them live but I was on 14, and the parental figures said no. Damn! We're not that old.

  • @bigdsears...it's even better when you can play the solo for real. Back when I was learning this solo in the 80's, I think it took me 6 months to play it perfect. Lots of practice. The rhythm is super easy to play though.

  • Molson Amphitheatre AUGUST 9TH !!!!!!

  • Gotta love Alan Fitzgerald on keyboards with the ski cap and sunglasses.

  • WIN!

  • Great song, Great solo...GREAT BAND!

  • I think I just had an organism at 2:33 at that guitar solo

  • Seeing these guys in Phoenix tomorrow night with Foriegner and Journey! I can't wait :D

  • @GamerNerdGirl yea girl rocking out the 80's Ill be there TOO!

  • YES THE GUYS are back on tour this summer !!!! seeikng them in AUG in hartford CT

  • @BRUTUSPLAC THEY ALWAY'S ROCK .....

  • Saw them back in '95 or '96 at a dive bar in North Carolina and they still rocked, even with the tiny stage and bad acoustics

  • YES ROCK AND ROLL DONE RIGHT NIGHT RANGER FOR EVER

  • Saw these guys but I don't remember what yr it was (because I was so fried) but I do know it was one hell of a show!!! Thanks for the memories!!

  • saw them open for ZZ TOP in the 80's blew them off the stages

  • every time I check in on a Night Ranger video it sounds just like the song. they must be really good live

  • @thestrawhead, saw them in 1984 in Mt. Pleasant, Michigan. They did a pretty good job and what I liked the most is that they kept it clean. No foul language at all, they just did their music with professionalism.

  • Damn, that was good live.

  • WISH I'D SEEN THAT SHOW, THAT WAS GNARLY !!!!!!!!

  • 3:44 now that's kickass

  • saw these guys last night as islington acadamy they totally rocked esp as bin held up in customs for 7 hours

  • my bf , now ex sent me this as we were breaking up. the worst day of my life </3

  • 18 Beiber fans are butt-hurt at the sound of awesomeness

  • 18 Beiber are butthurt at the sound of real music

  • IF YOU DIDN'T GRADUATE HIGH SCHOOL BETWEEN 1980 AND 1990,,YOU HAVE NO CLUE HOW HUGE OF A HIT THIS WAS!! THIS IS DEFINITELY 1 OF A FEW SONGS THAT DESERVES TO BE PLAYED AT 11!!!!

  • @EXTIQUE I hate when people that are born in the era think they are so special, yes I understand that this was a super huge hit, and its a great song. I'm sure you enjoyed it whenever you graduated. But I was born in 94' and some of my favorite bands are Journey, Foreigner, and Night Ranger, so even though I didn't graduate between 1980 and 1990 I know what the song means and how "huge of a hit" it was.

  • They rock!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • 倒れよった。

  • やっぱアメリカンロックは突き抜ける様な爽快感だな!

  • Monster guitar players!!!!

  • DAAAAAAAAAMN the solos man

  • やっぱり乗ってる頃のアメリカは良いね!

    神風のハチマキを腕に巻くのも当時らしいねー☆

  • "Rock Palace" - What a great show that was. Too bad we will never see the likes of it again.

  • youth gone wild!!! 1000likes....

  • youth gone wild!!! 1000likes....

  • So funny. I marvel and blush that I used to love this stuff.

  • Man, I miss that long-hair ROCK!!

  • So......Cooooooool !! やっぱりメチャクチャ格好イイ!!

  • when they like walk around the stage how do they not trip over all of the chords going to their guitars?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

  • @thepieroxmysox ....pro nady system

  • @itsalways924 knowing me i would trip over all of the chords well thts just me...

  • The 80's rocked!!!!

  • If you are a Night Ranger fan and do not like this, you are a fucking idiot. This is an amazing live performance. Tight, and they were also intense and had the crowd popping. You can't ask for a better performance.

  • Holy crap...that makes me want to get a Matt's beer ball and smoke dope. That's crazy good rock & roll.

  • @XDrummerSteve you say matts beer, where you from man? I grew up in west utica man! Got drunk for the first time on matts remember it well. Take care....

  • @cowboysfan1964 Binghamton area. That's old school.

  • It's good to hear that they're not using tapes. Or at least not for any of the important stuff.

  • Wow.......I remember liking Night Ranger but I never realized the two guitar players shared the lead role.....that's great! I'm not sure of too many guys that can do that these days and it sure made for a great performance here!! Nice goin' Night Ranger...I'll have to start listening to more of your stuff......ROCK ON!!

  • This is great, but I want to see the original video. I wish they would stop taking it off.

  • 18 people were not told they were loved

  • 1:05

  • <-AngelFace wow they rock. They sound like night Ranger. close any-way. where are

    they performing? Great band!!!

  • Jeff and Brad....AMAZING GUITAR PLAYERS...how many bands can replicate what they record on an album virtually note for note live? One of my favourite Night Ranger songs flowing with raw energy and musical talent throughout in this fantastic live performance..WOW!!

  • i saw them live yesterday they opened to journey here in mexico

  • i saw them yesterday they open to journey here in mexico

  • The sound he make at 2:22 is awesome . What is the name of this sound technic ? please

  • @MrJacksonKingV He has a tremolo that lets him pull back (raise pitch) instead of how most typical Fender tremolos only let you pitch down. There was a video of him talking about this somewhere but I don't know exactly where. If you just hit the tremolo in another direction (not bend, but hit/tap) you can get that sound. I've done it at least once by accident.

  • @satsun Thank you man

  • My high school jazz band had a kick-ass rhythm section (your humble poster on drums included lol) with bass, drum, guitar & keyboards in the mid-80s. Sometimes the director would let us cut loose with this one at pep rallies & games and man the mofo ROOF would come off the joint! Great memories!

  • American Dad is right, you appreciate Night Ranger a lot more when yo hih

  • 堪らん!!!

    格好良過ぎる!!

    (0∀0;)!

  • seeing them live this summer!!!!!!!!!

  • this band was hot in the early 80s..no question....

  • I've been married & divorced twice. Both times, they deserted me. ""DON'T TELL ME YOU LOVE ME!!! I DON'T WANT TO KNOW!!!!

  • Here one may observe the sheer slamming talent of guitarit Brad Gillis (where he had the year before played on Osbourne's only album "Speak of the' Devil.") Damn it, it's talent like his that make you say "~Night Ranger! I LOVE YOU!!! ;

  • great

  • I remember watching this on tv way back then, this is one great band of true performers. Even though NR is a little tame for my tastes I still think this was one of the best shows I wish I could have been to. I did get to see them in 1983 or 84 at the Civic Auditorium in Santa Monica where Ruff Cutt opened for them, they were not anywhere close to as good there as they were here.

  • how many of today's bands can sound half that good live?

  • @420megadeth hey, is that justin BOOBer paying attention here? He might just learn something REAL!!!

  • Keep the Faith!!

  • I agree

  • I cant believe how good these guys sounded live...Go check out old videos of Heart, they were awesome live also.

  • RG is right!! Octavius bites ass!! Tattoos are the shit!! WIMP!
