i started getting to reborns becaus i wanted somebody to play with and have around other than grown ups. i am the oild, i would only child, i would have been the only girl out of 4 if the others would have lived. before i was born, my mom was pregnant with 2 boys but didnt live, then me, im here, and then 2 years after me, another boy, but also didnt live, i wish that they would have lived but i guess it just wasnt ment to be (RIP-babies)
Whaw i can soo relate to this sad story... I have had 2 miscarriages and one stillborn... There are times that i feel soo down and depressed... Just want to hold my baby boy again... Wanting to go back in time to just have that one moment even though he wasnt alive... It would be a real blessing to get custom reborn of my Son... A huge prayer that i have had ever since the loss... God bless all mothers with Gaurdian Angels... Just know you are not the only ones... They are in a better place. RIP

Those who own reborns should not be put down. Trust me as a mom who just lost her new born baby son at 3 days old on Dec.23,2011,I'm seriously looking into getting one. Until you know what it is to lose a child you can't or shouldn't put down anyone who has a reborn for whatever the reason. You will never get that child back but whatever helps helps.

I am a reborn artist. There is nothing wrong with mothers wanting to hold onto the babies they have lost. I have five friends who have lost children and it is devastating for me to see them in such pain. If a mom wants to have a reborn that resembles their angels, I see no reason why they should not have one. It's their personal business. It helps them with the healing process and is absolutely a way for them to connect with their angels. I love making dolls and would make one for a grieving mom
@EIN771 I'm not starting a fight here but you did not need to add that these dolls are "effin wierd" no need to start a disagreement but I believe it was a bit unnecessary . It doesn't matter if you don't like them I don't mind if you don't but they comfort people

I lost my baby at 8 months and I cannot have any more children because of a genetic disorder. This is something I cannot help, but I wouldn't put a baby at risk again by having another. This is why these therapeutic babies are so amazing. When I get the funds, I would love to get a doll like my son Vincent for myself.

The hobby is not weird at all. It is a stress relief for me and many others. I used to be a cutter and these dolls helped me through that hard time in my life.

I haven't lost any babies but I have a reborn just because they are so coll! I have two grown sons and grandchildren (one is still a baby) but I still love "playing" with my reborn! Those who own reborns should not be put down. Trust me as a mom who just lost her new born baby son at 3 days old on Dec.23,2011,I'm seriously looking into getting one. Until you know what it is to lose a child you can't or shouldn't put down anyone who has a reborn for whatever the reason. You will never get that child back but whatever helps helps.
