I had to laugh when you said "if you can do 200 on the floor, you might get 10-20 of these on the pole!" I can actually do about 60 sit-ups with the bench hanging downwards at a 50 to 60 degree angle--but I still haven't managed more the ONE ab-up from the cross knee position. You were doing those so easily--I could hardly believe it! And I work out EVERY DAY--for the last 10-15 years. You are very strong, Shelly!
hon i said that from my mouth, then my head said 'welp maybe not' lol. the bigger the angle, the harder the PULL, the more the strain so dont try these ones 2 many times, or u will DEFINATELY pull somethin! i think i might be 'strong'' 4 now, once was younger, as we all were, meaning, 200 regular sit ups is a stretch, 60 regular sit ups is more normal, i shouldve made THAT clearer, but i guess i was just tryin 2 show people the harshness of doing it leaning totally backwards vs.a floor crunch
You'll see that upper body strength is something that just comes naturally if you pole dance, it increases, and increases, and increases over time, just from even the simplest of spins, you'd be shocked at how those arms do develop w/o you even knowing it, my arms were puney, and i did NOT do anything else but pole dancing to strengthen them. now i worry about looking 'too manly' but at the same time, 2 be cont
i'm a bad self critic and so i do see a tremendous difference from when i 1st started, to mid journey... to now, so pole is all u need 4 that BUT there are other things you can do including 'pole ups' which are awesome at conditioning the upper body & get u where u wanna be even faster. I'll send u a private vid in a couple days just invite me as a friend, and that will do it. the 1st two exercises on this vid definately will help out the arms to, 2 be cont again, lol
