a question for anyone old enough to remember - - were LSD or any other hallucinogenic drugs readily available to young people in singapore or hk in 1968? or did people stick to alcohol or some other stimulant?
It's a cover of the song "Hallucinations" by a REALLY GOOD British psychedelic band called Tomorrow. I prefer the original but this is a pretty good cover (though more poppish than the original, as Cantabrigidian already said)
100% happy to have found this song on YouTube. Quests = 100% lovely. Just listen to how nice guitar Reggie played in those old 1960 days, he's just superb. Other than Fabulous Echoes / Danny Diaz, they're the best around. It's always nice to watch them play every weekend on RTV 龐碧雲's show.
** It'll be good if you can also post the other song from Quest = la-la means I love you, too. They sang even better than original Del Fonics !
1. High (light / right) in the sky, cross thousand miles, top (up) of my window, the sun its to shine, (its) gets in my eyes, must be (just like) a rainbow ;
2. Theres a colouring new (comes surprise) cross the skies, its a deep shade of you in the skies, rainbow every morning ;
3. Sometimes at night, circle of light, shines on my pillow, & thats what I see, colours of sweet, (must be a rainbow) fancy my window ;
@cotechhk It's more like : Light in the sky, clouds passing by, top of my window, The sun is in shine, gets in my eyes, must be a rainbow! Theres a colouring new across the plies, Its a deep shade of you in the skies, Rainbow... every morning! Sometimes at night, a circle of light, shines on my pillow, And there while I sleep, colours just creep and dusten my window... There's a colouring new across the plies, Its a deep shade of you in the skies, Rainbow... every morning!
hello zoundcraker,i really appreciated for your commitment,i love this song,i 've seen them appeared on the Star Show several times,their style something like the Steppen Wolf.

This is the first time I heard this song and I love it. It has a garage band feel to it.

This a remake of the song "Hallucinations" by the UK band Tomorrow -- more pop oriented and less psychedelic.

They were the best band playing in Hong Kong in that era in my mind.

They used to sing on Star Show every Wednesday.
We didn't have much entertainment in those days but looked forward to every Wednesday
