  • It's a diatonic scale, tuned at the moment in the key of D. There are lots of websites, etc. that will give you a very full idea of celtic harps and harp playing. Cheers, Patrick

  • @PatrickBall1

Sorry mr Ball, is this scale a major or minor one? Forgive me me for this inappropiate question.

P.S. this tune is wonderful , I wish I could learn to play such beautiful kind of instrument one day(or at least to play this tune with the guitar)

  • Is the harp tuned to a chromatic scale? I'm a fairly novice harper who would love to learn more.

  • what is the name of the tune here? Its the most amazing thing i've heard!

  • @keloxcrew Glad you like it. The name of the tune is "Carolan's Quarrel with the Landlady." Yes, it's a great tune.

  • I truly wish Patrick would produce/release a DVD of his O'Carolan performance

  • Great Mister Ball! \m/

  • Patrick ball is amazing!

  • Really enjoy seeing the dynamic in your performance, the extroverted storyteller contrasting with the introverted musician, how wonderful that you do the both so well.A truly singular art form.
