I don't think you guys totally understand the damage Gamestop does to the industry with its pawn-shoppery. Online passes are a way for the developer and publisher to maybe make a little money when Gamestop sells the game to somebody for two dollars less than the retail price and keeps every penny for themselves. Fuck Mass Effect multiplayer. It's a series of RPGs. Bioware used to stand for excellent writing and personal experiences the fans could receive depending on how much they devoted to the game. Dragon Age: Origins was an excellent example. They offered an interesting take on traditional high fantasy and backed it with a lot of lore. Then EA fucked shit up, and now we have Dragon Age 2. Fuck this. Especially if they stick to the online pass bullshit.

I think the whole torrent of hate for the Mass Effect 3 multiplayer is because the only reason it's there is because EA is requiring it's developers to put some type of multiplayer component into their games, whether the developer planned to or not. Most people would rather have a longer single player story or other content, instead of multiplayer that most likely won't get a following around it. With games like CoD and Halo, multiplayer is pointless to add in to a game that doesn't need it.

It allows people that don't have much money to spend on games to be able to play the games they want for less money. When I played Mass Effect I was saying "Damn I wish you could play this with me." The nintendo thing.... That all needs to stop and they need to come out with a super bad-ass system! (They could do it if they wanted to.) If you want it to be a family system,... just change your settings, like 360 and PS3! As far as the DLC, it is getting old. If you buy the game and they have DLC before it even comes out, then just let the buyers use some codes, at least for the first 9 months! Love yall!
