The classiest, most elegant rendition of this classic I've ever heard. Of course Crosby's is the benchmark, but it sounds a tad dated to me in 2010---Ella's sultry swing hasn't aged a bit :)
@direfranchement This is by far the best version of this tune I never heard because of its jazz feeling. I don't like Bing Crosby in this : too old-fashioned, whinning and syrupy... But I'm not American and I've no sentimental attaches with this version, the most sold record in the world before "Candle in the Wind" (1997) by Elton John
@MrMentllet lol is very overused from what i have seen so i dont really know when its serious or not and i have mostly seen black and white pics of her and then pictures where shes white so to be honest i have no idea
