Unfortunately, that's the way Viacom is with their licenses because of who owns it, Sumner Redstone, one of the biggest enforcers of copyright infringement (and also a big hypocrite because he ALSO owns Limewire and BitTorrent.) Just be thankful he didn't claim you "illegally downloaded Winx Club episodes online" and try and sue you and put you in jail! O_O
As far as dubs go, they all had their good things and bad things:

-Cinelume retained all the original Italian music, had mostly good VAs, and seemed to stick to the original plot well. The only problem was that it was rushed because it was an early dub.
-4Kids had a few good VAs. However, they cut a LOT of scenes, changed dialogue, and changed all the music for their own.
-Nick has some good VAs, sticks to the plot, and retains the original music. They seem to rush it too though.
@Decembirth The Cinelume dub was the first dub of Winx ever, it was a direct Italian to English dub made in Canada used for other countries to dub winx in their language and aired as is in some countries in asia like Singapore
The early seasons with Cinelume seem more like a "test dub" or promotional dub rather than a quality one that should air on television. Cheers to Canada being more accepting of female demographic shows. But their take on Winx Club is disappointing when compared to other dubbings.
@Decembirth yes disappointing, I wish they took more time on production 'cause it seemed rather sloppy. I am assuming there probably was no intention of airing this particular dub on TV, and Cinelume knowing that, probably didn't put as much effort as they might have otherwise, they usually specalize in dubbing american movies into Canadian French so I wouldn't be suprised if the staff spoke french to eachother through out. lol all that being said I still personaly liked it much more than 4kids
@DokiEnchantix Well, in all honesty if I had to pick a dub, I'd pick Cinelume over 4Kids any day because of two reasons:
1. 4Kids made a ton of unnecessary cuts and dialogue changes, as they do with most of their dubs.
2. The majority of 4Kids' voices annoyed me, particularly Stella, Tecna, Flora, Faragonda, and Valtor.
But yes, I agree with you. The Cinelume dub did seem rushed and sloppy, production-wise. I wish they had taken more time on it and actually put it on TV. >:
@Bgirldotnet yes, they released a 4 minute sneak peak on the american Itunes, just search Winx on the Itunes store and look under TV shows and you can watch for free the first 4 min of season 3 ep 1. As for the transformation, I'm sure they'll just use the old ones otherwise it would be out of place, I just wonder if they'll use the original song or not, well we'll find out soon.
@heartyheartstar2345 lol, I can think of many others who would think the complete oppisite. We're all entitled to what dub we like there's no right or wrong so its all cool. I think In reality it was 4kids that changed everything from the Italian version, they changed a lot of the background story and a lot of place names and some character names. Nick's Script is so much more the same as the original Italian version even keeping the Italian Music and script.
@salman6896 nope, they are playing the animation as is ^_^. Only the specials recapping seasons 1 and 2 have the newer animation. I think its good that they are showing season 3 animation as is. So far season 3 is my fav season, i like it even more than season 4

Nick Flora needs to soften up a bit, she sound a tad 'too' young', but it's such a cute voice.
