what sux about it U can not upgrade the hard drive or you will void the warranty.

I want 2GB of Ram and 320GB HDD so O have to wait a year or Retailer like BESt buy or Geek Squad get to you.

change battery so in future if asus or 3rd party company release a 9-cell then your happy change hard drive aswell ... well with some tkaing apart? lol 1005ha is the best 1008ha terrible

portability isnt a difference at all in my opinion, the netbooks whole purpose of existence was to become a portable laptop, seeing as it is already very sleek and small why sacrifice a few more centimeters here and there for the ability to replace battery and ram.

Around £320 in UK for Windows 7 version of 1008HA, with a 250GB HDD.

Yes, got a black 1008HA from Amazon UK. I use XP at work and Win7 at home. Both have their uses...

Although the 1008 I got had 250GB HDD and Win7, I heard there will be a better 1008 released in January. Better CPU with on-chip graphics, more RAM, and maybe a higher-res screen.
