Its a no brainer...Double/Lift take your pick. Either way, at that level, something needs to be called.

you can't call a double based on spin in beach. Spin can "indicate" a double but it has to be balled on contact. I would have been pissed too because his left hand clearly leaves a lot earlier than his right hand which is a double contact, no matter how clean the ball comes out without spin.

Dude happens to be Karch Kiraly, basically the best to ever play the game. He is the MJ of Volleyball. My guess is if he's bitching about a call he is right lol. And it looked pretty nasty especially the way his left hand came off the ball.

dumb reaction, if he saw the lift then he could've told the ref to stop the game right away, but then he waited until Jason Ring down ball then went crazy about it. I think he got mad because he couldn't dig that ball.

what? you always play the ball through then talk to the ref... if you start screaming in the middle of the ball you will most likely be awarded with both a warning and a lost ball
