All it explains it that geographically it was in a place where African-Americans dwell. If you go to Central America, Europe, Australia, etc. you will find conflicts/gang violence with the victims and perpetrators being what the majority of the location is. Take Football (American - Soccer), you see numerous cases of riots breaking out where people are severely beaten and injured and there's multiple ethnicities and cultures present, so we can't blame issues of society on that but on morality.

MLK Jr. was a great visionary with amazing ideas but I'm afraid many people today lack a good role model in their lives now to look up to.
