I went to the mint myself and asked them about the visit. The guide I had was on his day off the day Rick came but he said that everyone was so flustered because they didn't know how to react to Rick stealing the gold.

@okpapereat Not Really, some coin are harder than other. Usually everything that is made on the Green press we have seen are Proof quality. But on Automatic side (blue press we didn't see) we strike some coin 2 time because of the material they are made with. Some other are stroke 3-4-5-6 time, depend of what coin it is.

@UtoPluc Like i said double strike on gold coins, The RCM makes pure gold coin, and gold without an alloy is softer then most metals so 1 time is usually enough. But what some Coin minting company will do is double stamp which means there making the coin proof which has more details then our own circulated set. They make proof coins specially for numismatics people like me. I collect anything from canadian coins to coins from USSR,Nazi Germany,Poland, Yugoslavia, Switzerland, Britain.

@UtoPluc Then you should know that its really not called UNC quality loon, its actually called BU, Brillient uncirculated meaning it has retained its mint condition with most of its luster. You make BU coins for collectors right?

The final name maybe change, I don't really care about that, because I don't collect them, but there is Unc (Uncirculated), Proof, Spec (Specimen), and investment coin like Sml. Sorry also my english is kind of bad, so I may have some difficulty to explain myself.

@UtoPluc The final name as you call it, its actually a grade of coins when your talking about numismatics, Unc is basically the second best grade there is. The first would be BU. You should get into collecting coins its interesting and it holds the history of the coins. Just like coins from USSR, it holds rich history of the soviet union, the memories for stalin and lenin. The nazi coins hold a nasty era of Nazi domination by Hitler and the SS.
