The first game was massively halo inspired, it's utterly undeniable. Interestingly the visuals at the end of this trailer reminded me of crysis too, but then, it was a tropical island, that in itself isn't unique. The mechanics of a lone space marine shooting up covenant esque aliens with assualt rifles, dropping out of spaceships and onto planets is pure halo. As for games with 'soul' there are plenty, like shadow of the colouss, ico, limbo and braid.

It's a nice cinematic, but It felt and looked a little stiles and souless to me. Pure halo inspired, to the point, one could argue outright plagiarism actually. Game loft are good at making polished, nice looking titles. What they are not so good at however is having original ideas of their own..
