Oi hill in brazilian hill in brazil here in brazil is replaced him again as separate I would like to know if i ever elestiveram some problem with any of them that because three goofy was changed 6 once again i would like to know if he had seen a brawl between them with new hurmrista if one wanted more it appears that another pra change that much ddepois death curly and Shemp Howardele dumb4 more and more old had, or more like appears more than new i would like to know
Several of the ideas of the film were considered. However, Moe fell ill due to lung cancer and died in May 4, 1975, making it inconceivable to the continuation of the group without the Howard.During the entire career of the Three Eating Wimps, Moe was the heart and soul of the troupe, acting both as its main creative force and as his manager
Larry Fine suffered another stroke in December 1974. In the following month, he suffered a more serious and slipped into a coma. He died in January 24, 1975, with 72 years of age. Devastated by the death of his friend, Moe, however, decided that the Three Eating Wimps would continue. After the death of Larry 4 month after moe came dies problem in the lung
In 1959, Joe left the Three Eating Wimps and had a successful career in television. In March 1, 1988, Joe died during sleep, in his home, to the north of Hollywood. Joe had a myocardial infarction. Fourteen months later, his wife Erna died in July 1, 1989. ] Is buried in Forest Lawn Memorial
There is no place for curly again works Shemp Howard In November 22, 1955, Shemp went out with his friends and was at the Hollywood Legion Stadium see a fight boxing. After the fight, Shemp and his friend Al Winston took a taxi to go back home. Shemp bowed himself on the seat of the taxi and lit a cigar. Suddenly fell on Winston. Shemp had a heart attack and died at 60 of age in place him entro Joe Besser
Three goofy began in 1922 until 1970 more even then he appeared on tv was Moe Howard, Larry Fine, and Shemp Howard he had let the pra do soil ai entro Curly Howard died in January 18, 1952. He was only 48 years of age
Emil Sitka is the guy sitting in the chair at the table getting polished up. I hate to say but the Stooges were never the same after Curly and Shemp died. Just not funny.
@RegistrationCop Moe especially seemed to lose his timing- Larry was still pretty funny. Joe de Rita was a talented guy, but not the right personality- they must have hired him for looks, same as Joe Besser.
@albanybeardguy Moe was also toning his nastiness down when he realized that many children were watching him perform. He's defintely not the violent, crab-ass that he was during the Curly and Shemp era.
@RegistrationCop Joe Besser could have been a good thrid stooge but he was given crap to work with and he refused to be involved in the amount of slapstick that Curly and Shemp endured. Except for a few shining moments, the Joe Besser shorts do not even come close to matching the comedic heights of the Curly and Shemp films. The Curly-Joe Deritia era was nearly a total a waste at least in terms of the six feature films that were made. There's no energy or conviction in those movies at all.
@primerodimus1 And Curly-Joe had no personality at all and he brought nothing to the act. And, by that period, Moe and Larry were well past their prime.
@RegistrationCop And Curly-Joe Derita had no personality at all and he brought nothing to the act. Despite generating a few laughs in those films, Moe and Larry were well past their prime.
@Authoritybeatz if you even knew anything about the three stooges and weren't ignorant than you would know this is their cartoon '' the new three stooges'' which ran from 1965 to 1966
The Three Stooges are truly a great showcase for all whom love comedy. It's most important that we keep their memory alive moviewise and in our hearts forever. If they were still alive, I'd give all three of those knucleheads a big hug and thank them for being heros, They're not dead, they just went home! We have Jesus to thank for them being who they were!!!!!
It also helped the producer that the silent movie footage took up more time than it would have cost to create new animation [Cambria Studios was among the cheapest cartoon producers in the '60s- among their TV series was the immortal "CLUTCH CARGO", which barely used "animation" at all!].
@Veggieman87 Sure was Emil Sitka. He was a young man when he worked with the Stooges, and the special effects people made him up to look older. When Larry had a stroke, Moe brought him in as a replacement for Larry.
The same, 'Return'. Sitka was a close friend of the Howard brothers- he appeared as a supporting player in most of their Columbia two-reelers from the mid-'40s through 1959, and the live sequences in this series as well....
Even though there were 156 cartoons filmed, only 40 live-action "wraparounds" were produced- and they were repeated throughout the series; Emil Sitka {long-time Stooges' friend and associate} and Margaret Kerry Brown {wife of Cambria Studio's Dick Brown} appear as the reluctant couple being waited on...

Were there a lot of silent movie theaters in the sixties? It's an odd premise for a kids cartoon.
Tork110 1 year ago
@Tork110 I don't think it's so odd, they didn't have such low expectations for kids back then.
