Regarding the reference to cell walls: Only plant cells have a cell wall. Human cells have a cell membrane- they are quite different.
Second Point, the current most accepted and current theory on aging has to do with the telomeres on the end of chromosomes: every time they replicate they get shorter and lose some dna information (except sex cells.) Nothing to do with sugar.
@Antillers im not a expert but i am pretty sure splenda isnt that great not sure on the agave id suggest and like to know more about stevia its becoming more popular...
I wish this doctor could come to Toronto and lecture here. I think many people here would listen to what he has to say. Very articulate and informate. :)
True. I replaced all my cooking fats with coconut oil. It's stable and never goes rancid.
Soybean, Peanut, Canola oils (so called healthy vegetable oils) become trans fats once exposed to light, oxygen or heat (cooking). Unlike coconut oil.
@MGillDesign That's because coconut oil is a saturated fat just like palm kernel oil. Oils which are liquid at room temperature are generally unsaturated fats like the ones you mentioned and they do not become "trans fats" through any other process than hydrogenation (a chemical process of adding hydrogen atoms to the fatty acid chain.)
The more hydrogen atoms added to the chain, the more saturated the fat- and solid at room temperature- these oils however remain liquid after cooling.
i went from thinking i was allergic to wheat and then milk. truth is i'm not allergic to any food group it was the artificial additives such as the sweetener aspartmame and preservatives in bread that were causing my eczema
"If you sit in a chair, that's what you're capable of doing, and I want to do more than that" I love that line! If all we were meant to be capable of was stare at a TV we'd only be a pair of eyeballs suspended in the air! :-D If you're not going to use your body then you're wasting it, and worse, yourself. Make the most of what you have. You deserve it.
I really liked this video. Dr. Vincent Bellonzi is so good with everything he says. I would like to know why it's been a long time since he's made any new videos on here. I hope he makes more soon!
i got question about sugar!! According to Dr Fredric Brandt's 10 Minutes/10 Years, he says to avoid starchy veggies n most of sugary fruits except for low glycemic ones like blueberries or green apple because high sugar leads to candida overgrouwth that results in numerous problems. im not sure but i guess we should also becareful about natural sugar...???
ive already watched it and i believe fruit has more benefits!! but i dont understand why he has different idea. btw he is very famous doctor!! why whouldn't he know fruits are good?

Hi, very good lectures. What about sweeteners like Splenda and Agave Nectar, are these good alternatives to refined sugars?

What are some creams that you recommend for eczema?
FlowingGeisha 3 years ago
Do you know anything about eczema ? My wife has it real bad . She is also allergic to wheat , soy, yeast
and corn. Finding things for her to eat is very hard and I am concerned with her nutrition .
any ideas will help . Thanks Dave

Good lecture - but it's a shame the room is so ugly - ugly environments are as bad for the civilised as sugar is for the human body.
