It's not retarded. It's called anticipation, mind games, trying to counter your opponent's moves before he even executes it. Daigo does a few jump ins and follows up with a throw. When Daigo shoryukens instead of trying for a throw, his opponent will be caught. This is how Daigo 'reads' his opponents.

And since there are shortcut motions in this game, he probably input the DP motion without meaning to. SF4 shortcut motions FTL!

no the arcades in Japan have card readers. they sell cards that you can connect to ur Xbox or PS3 and you can put what colour and outfit you want your character to have and who ur main character is. then when you go to the arcade, your title, icon, win rate, total battles fought and total battles won, and personal quote will show. also the point of picking your main character is that when you put the card in the reader the machine will automatically pick him for you. wish they did it in the U.K.

also if you win or lose it will give you a win and battle points. unfortunately when the arcade version came out the update for championship mode wasnt out yet so they only have BP in the arcade mode if you win with a card. just because of that i wouldnt buy it because i think the point system is completely unbalanced. i could win 40 matches against scrubs and win 40 points and then lose 1 and lose like 200 points? get the fuck outta here. championship mode is much more fair and balanced.

Ryu is easier to learn, but just as hard to master. Other than Daigo and Momochi (who mains Akuma I think), there are no other Ryu players in the top 30.

BTW, if Nemo had landed that EX legs combo (into a corner ultra) near the end of round 1, he would've won a lot more easily. Awesome match!
