I also just remembered something else. In January when I was in Israel a bunch of Arab kids started throwing rocks at my friends and I. We did not pick up the rocks and throw them back. They were only children. I won't judge children because they were not old enough to make a well-rounded judgment for themselves, they were emulating what they see their parents do. It's not fair to judge an uninformed person. I don't want to argue or push my beliefs on anyone.

I also just remembered something else. In January when I was in Israel a bunch of Arab kids started throwing rocks at my friends and I. We did not pick up the rocks and throw them back. They were only children. I won't judge children because they were not old enough to make a well-rounded judgment for themselves, they were emulating what they see their parents do. It's not fair to judge an uninformed person. I don't want to argue or push my beliefs on anyone.

HHodork your right, oil does have a place in our world and it is an important resource. But the problem is that the majority of oil is used for petro purposes. And yes, if we shift away our dependenece from foreign oil the sheiks,hugo,and all the other OPEC despots would scramble for their political and countries lives. The argument is whether drilling which by all accounts would take 10 yrs to reach the market, is the most effective way to that independence.

It will tell the world that the US will take care of its own needs. The psycological effect will be enormous, as was shown last week when Bush made the announcement. Furthermore, once oil flows, WE will control its market flow and we will supplement the oil in our own country. We can THEN look to alternatives, which are ten years away.

I think the only excitement about it is the fact that he left a note in the wall, he's considered a gentile, and they don't want a prayer from a gentile on the wall. Anyone who understands the culture would know that in Israel, the Jewish religion (I'm separating this from nationality), they can only allow certain access. I'm surprised he wasn't told any rules about leaving a prayer or not if they don't allow it.

Am I missing something? I don't see any proof in this video that he's actually holding Obama's note. Seems like a hoax to me, especially when Ma'ariv and Yediot Ahoronot claim that the Obama camp gave them copies before he placed it in the wall.
