Was he the same dancer who at times wore a bright red tux and did the skit routines with Big Louie? If so, he (and Lou) were pretty entertaining. Loved 80s Soul Train with all the fine ladies.
loved him on the show..aaahhh man never knew these peoples names(lol) but u will be playing your vids of the dnacers all day i love soul train to death i think he started in the mid-late 70's too and went on through the early-mid late 80's were he fit right in perfectly with the style of dress and the soul train line routines with lou ski says uzipolo king of decatur
Thomas Evans was Puerto Rican, lots of Puerto Ricans have non-Latino last names, my daddy was half Italian and Half Puerto Rican and his last name is Charles..
Does anyone know where Tom is now, or what he has been doing since leaving ST? Also exactly when did he begin and end his time on the show? I would like to know more about him.
Thanks for the post. I've been waiting for this. And yeah, back in the day I thought he and Lou Ski were brothers too. Tom was so laid back and smooth.
Yeah, from a distance, they do look like brothers, but keep in mind that Tom is white and Lou is African American (and I think Latino...according to his last name........Carr) Tom was one of he coolest dudes on "that show" in the 1980's. He and Lou were kept on the show mainly for comedy relief (don't get me wrong, both can dance really well).
always liked tom he was dancing waay back in the mid 70's as well

at point 0:39, who was that conservative looking soul train dancer with the mini fro dancing next to the asian girl with the silver top?

@simplydeep504 I didn't get a good look at him since the shot was very brief, but I think he is a dancer named Leland (don't know last name).

@Sakkara1331
a source informed to me that Thomas was Jewish, not latino, but who cares, he and Lou were big together on Soul Train in the 1980s.
