LOOKKK AT MY BIG COUSIN I NEVER GOT TO MEET HIM BUT STILL FLOYD PATTERSON IS THE BEST he is my mothers mother fathers sister or brothers son HAHAHA I LUV SAYIN THT
Thanks for uploading this. Floyd was amazing, the quickest hands in boxing and the forerunner of the peek a boo style (Tyson). Remember today he would either be a light heavy or cruiserweight which makes his success all the greater. A true gentleman.
floyd patterson was the type of human being and role model that negro america should have adopted as a hero,,,not cassius clay,,a loud mouth braggart who humiliated opponents with his name calling,,but the liberal media protected clay,,,,bet you never heard clay attended kkk rallies offering them support as they both sought separatism for their respective races,,,fact
....and what's your point? Ali went to KKK rallies? So what? Many of the U.S. senators, politicians, and police chiefs were (and still are) KKK so the same men would've been there had he went to Congress lol. You calling him "Clay" only shows that you're a devil, and affirmation that black people do need to separate from whites before they are completely destroyed.
Cus's careful planning for Floyd was brutally derailed by Sonny Liston's two first round knockouts. Floyd was a Man and insisted on doing what was right and that was giving the most deserving contender a shot. I loved Floyd as a kid growing up and remember that shocking 2:06 like it was yesterday.
@tdk813 Thanks for asking. I don't follow as I once did. Like many, I've been turned off due to too many divisions, supposed champions and bad decisions. When I was a kid, championship fights occurred just a couple of times per year (with the exception of Ali). They were special, trust me. We all knew who the champs and the contenders were. Also, it hurt's me to see the great ones of my day hurting so badly today. It's a brutal sport, no doubt.
I'm only 21 but I feel the same way. I always watch the old fights for fun, great fighters like Jack Dempsey, Joe Louis, Sugar Ray Robinson, and all the other greats. I watch the new fights to keep up with the sport but it's just not the same. Boxing used to be about two men fighting for a title, now it's clowns trying to make as much money as possible.
what a gentlemen. don't see many class acts like him anymore; what's wrong with fighting and dismissing the trashtalking? evander Holyfield was a gentlemen as well.

@tdk813 Robinson hated boxing because of the barbaric theme to it and only boxed strictly for money.
