you captured so well how I felt about the movie too, thank you for sharing those words it brought tears to my eyes. Michael was always all about us - he planted seeds all through his life and I think somehow he knew at his death everything would pop to life...

I seen the movie as well and it was a great experience to watch. I have to say MJ did inspire us all! One thing that sticks out in my mind are his music videos such as Smooth Criminal and Bad cause they reminded me of film more than just music videos.

Man, I wish he were around to hear your review of this (although I guess it wouldn't have existed then, but you know what I mean). You got the message he was sending, for his whole career. That was always what he was about, first and foremost.... self improvement, WORLD improvement. I believe this message was and is even more important than any entertainment contributions he made, although he sure did neatly package his thoughts into the song and dance, didn't he? :) Very well said... rock on!

Oscar material? This would be like insulting MJ, because if he were here, he would know that this was just a video of him REHEARSING.

He was incredibly talented, he was the king of pop, I loved his music very much, but .. Oscar? For footages of him rehearsing?

It sounds more like a "well, since he died, let's give him one last gift, an Oscar nomination, or even a victory" kind of situation. I know I will hear it from blind fans who can't see what I mean, but think about it.

I hear you and understand what you are saying. I think the human Michael Jackson would agree with you. However now that Michael has transitioned to a higher state of consciousness, I believe at this very moment, he's supportive of the film, "This Is It", it's artistry and its message.

Michael was a perfectionist and micromanaged every detail of his music, image and message that he put out on the planet.

I have no doubt his spirit helped guide the inspired storytelling and editing of this film.

this was a nice film, i also found out about 2 new great artists because of this movie and thats Judith Hill (vocals with the afro) and Orianthi (the girl with the guitar). my favorite part was when he did the "i just cant stop loving you" duet with Judith Hill and they were singing back and forth lol! and then he was just like dont make me do that again i was suppose to warm up my voice or something it was great.

I totally agree with you. Michael was so lovely when he stepped back and told Orianthi that it's her time to shine, just as he's stepping back in this lifetime and pointing at everyone in the audience, "It Is Your time To Shine".

I see this film as a call to action for all of us to quit being lazy bystanders, get off the couch and use our skills to get out in the world and use our God given talents to make this a better world.

Spread the love and have fun doing it...pass it on.

i totally agree. I love the part when he tells her, "it is your time to shine" and i think he repeated that twice to her. Shows he really cares. He was such a caring guy.. about everything. Such a great film and such a great guy. His message will live on.

I completely agree with you. I got such wonderful chills when he turned to Orianthi and basically pushed her toward the spotlight and said, "It's your turn to shine." Michael was humble, gracious and very inspirational and empowering to others.

Thank you so much. And by the way, I've never met a vicious pit bull. Every one I've ever met was so sweet. I always find pit bulls just open my heart. Their eyes are so vulnerable and they just want to please and they're so loyal. I have several friends who have pit bulls and I don't know what it is about them but they seem to have some kind of magic that wants to make me cry joyful tears. They are viciously loyal, soulful and precious. I sense you are too.

I loved Michael in B&W when I was a wee lass, I don't care if one can guess my age. It was absolutely magical to see him through my eyes in my formative years until his passing. Now, this movie is a legacy, a great gift from a great Spirit, a kind man.

We all have a story and yes we can SUPPORT one another.

I know many people who have worked and or lived with Michael Jackson. They always described him as shy, warm and kind. The only complaint they had about him was that he was "overly" generous. Wow, that's the worse complaint they can find about him. I want people complaining about me.

I loved Michael Jackson in black and white too. I agree this film is a great gift to the planet and so was Michael.

I think what Michael Jackson proves is that there is no such then as color. There is no black or white because in reality we are all "LIGHT".

We are all "One With The Light".

Yee are the light...use it to light your path so that you can recognize the special qualities inside you that are just waiting to burst forth to share with others.

Government can't do the job it promises until we use our God given talents to heal ourselves, heal the planet and thereby fulfilling the promise together.

I love you too and so did (does) Michael because he loved everybody. I say "does" because the spirit and soul does not die when the body dies. It's like trading in your old car that won't start anymore for a new car. You're still you, it's just that the vehicle you've been driving through life with no longer serves you. Believe you me, Michael is even more alive than ever and I'm sure he hopes his transition inspires others to wake up and stop sleep walking through life. Don't bury your talents
