Jagjit Jee: You were my best friend in my lonely moments. I do not know why people believe you are gone. Your voice still lingers in my house. Loud and clear...
simply complicated for some peepl as different peepl take it different ways..............but anyways ghalib is immortal through his great evergreen poetry..........................hats off to him.
dude its wrong he meant to say there was nothing the god was there if there is nothing god will be there so try to understand the ghalib words he is simply great
I will differ from you as well. I think when he says "Duboya mujhko hone ne, na hota main to kya hota", he really says : "Just the very existence of mine is the reason of my destruction. How would it be if I was just not there in this world?" He means: what difference would it make if he was not there in the world, and saying that it would rather be better, as he'd not have to go through this destruction.
jagjit sahab apne ghalib ki ghazlon ke sath insaaf kia hai..

It is a song for agnostics who believe in Ghalib's KHUDA. What a thaught, that if I was not, i would be Him.

I will differ my friend about "if I was not, i would be Him".
My explainnation is "that if I was not, what I would be?"
Yes he was agnostic but skeptical as well, skeptical why so much pain and what are the realities of life and hereafter if there is one.
Not denying but not accepting it as it is thats the dillema which every thinker goes through.
