i love how u put so many little details into your tattoo ( likethe ripples in on the ballerina etc) makes them just a million times better and more meaningful. I am gonna fill in space on my arms too eventually with bright colored flowers/birds/butterflys because most of my work now is in black and white and I want to get completed sleeves with all big bright colors so it'll be more feminine and less "hard" looking. It's lovely. I've always wanted to do a The Crow quote on my shoulder. "It can't rain all the time".

Then I'd love to get a tattoo that says "Don't" on my thigh, 'cause that's where I used to cut myself and a "Do" over my heart as a reminder to love instead of hurt both myself and others.

Thanks honey. I don't work. I had a winter job though, decluttering/organizing/design­ing/with emphasis on psychological support for hoarding addiction - for a family of 5 over the winter. I saved money for tattoo work and am currently gettin tattoo'd by my ex who got an apprenticeship at the end of 2008 = his rates are very low at the moment so I can afford to get a lot of ink done - for now.

I recommend Anais Nin as a writer who really can help one clarify the values that are appropiate for artists...that really helped me last summer...after some serious attacks from parents that really hurt...she helped me reconstruct myself big time.
