I actually like him as a Raptor. People on Raptorspace in previous months are saying to send him to the D-League, i mean why? He has an awesome work ethic, and he's a really good shot-blocker. I'm actually glad we got him, we got a steal. But the Raptors do have 3 or 4 centers, i hope he gets some playing time.

@JurassicJewify Hes no olajuwon but ur makin it seem like were over estimating him, he was drafted in the second round because he has a sickness.. he was projected at 20th in the first round, but when they found out he has a history in hepatitis, they didnt draft him.

He's not close to Olajuwon's game. Olajuwon was quick combined with finese and power. Alabi is more like a power center great defender he reminds me a little of Mutombo but Alabi is different we'll see what type of player he ends up.

What a great draft it was for the raptors...acquired Ed Davis with the 13th pick who was projected to be a top 10...and snatched Alabi who in my opinion was a low 20's pick who slide to number 50...I really hope Bosh leaves i think hes overrated and to soft to be a franchise player.
