  • At the time this comment is posted 2 jealous people from California have watched this and hit dislike.

  • Anyone know if a purchasable version of this track exists, and who composed it?

  • Honesty, I think they should have put speakers on the ride cars and had it synchronized to the track movements like the one at Disneyland.

  • @utubeviewer971 They can't. They tried but the track is too old and too weak to hold it.

  • Just came back from WDW and boy it made Space Mountain a lot more fun!

  • Edit: I didn't even knew such good techno exists until I listen to those games and I heard techno before.

  • Streets of Sim City and Sim Copter have WAY better techno then this. You haven't heard techno till you listen to the music from those games.

  • I think that this music could be used in future world at EPCOT.

  • at 2:12 it gives some memories to those visiting from California

  • @DisneyfanBeckers Fine to know that. Thanks for your reaction :D

  • @legokinz Meh they probably did their best I can imagine their budget was about 3 cents considering how cheap management his.

  • It's a great little addition to the ride looking forward to hearing it live this summer.

  • @legokinz at least they tried.

  • 2:12 - Great tribute to the Disneyland Space Mountain in the melody.

  • I don't understeand why it is in the begin ot te ride so fast, the music. In the other space mountains it begin slowly, and clymaxes. But im this SP it sounds like a space mountain eventually on 2:12. And that part is short. A waste :(

  • @DenniSundaY Yeah it is my favorite part because it has the true "voice" that represents the awesomeness of Space Mountain. It is always the part I look forward to in the music. And inside Space Mountain it sounds so much better! There is even a part that, in Space Mountain, makes you feel like you are saving the world! I think that part on here is 0:43 to 1:11. It always makes me feel even greater in Space Mountain :)

  • Funny sound, but I have saw a on-ride vid, and each time you drive acros a speaker, you get the dobler effect. The sound disturbs. And it is not so load as in SM disneyland ( if I am correct). Is this really true? (yeah, it is a "you have to hear it to your self" thing, but i live in the netherlands so i can not go to wdw in a time, verry expensive :p)

  • I agree, booooooooooooo

  • wow. disneyland inride music is sooo much better!!!

  • @wiLemochick But on Disneyland Space Mountain wouldn't it get boring hearing the same music each time? All that would change is the talking and screaming, which is always fun. I like Disney World and Disneyland Space Mountains, because they have better effects and scenery than in Hong Kong and Tokyo (both have the same track as California), and they feel more like space than the one in Paris (completely different theme and track). I love WDW Space Mountain, and want to go to Disneyland's. :)

  • Which speaker was this recorded from?

  • Well, it's good, but it sounds like something I'd like to have in a retro-throwback video game. Although Space Mountain's atmosphere has decidedly retro influences and is different from the main line of contemporary scifi, I've always considered it much more. . . well, serious, for lack of a better word, than this. The queue and exit songs do it much better justice.

  • @5ONE41 I have ridden the new ride with the new music an i would like to point out that it sounds much better and more Spacey when you actually ride the ride in person since it has a more echoey feeling to it. I was able to ride the new one 9 times last week and now that i listen to the song on here, it sounds very different from when you actually experience it. It's one of those, "you have to be there" things

  • @5ONE41 parts of the exit ramp show are inspired by visions of future living from Epcot's old ride "Horizons", which was torn down completely and replaced by Mission Space :( MS is fun to ride once in a while, but Space Mountain sings (and has sung) such beautiful, inspiring, and adventurous songs like this, the star tunnel and entrance music, and the original exit music, which was only there for a few years. It's a great space adventure, and I only go on MS for the g forces. I want Horizons...

  • boooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

  • @rocketrodlover You have to be there to get the best experience with the ride and music. You don't hear the same thing every time like at Disneyland, and this has a high-speed pace to it. I love hearing this in person inside the Mountain!

  • @DisneyfanBeckers Good for you. Enjoy it

  • Absolutely fantasic! I can't wait to ride this in 18 days. Finally, the long awaited marvelous WDW Space Mountain has a soundtrack!

  • I really like it :}

  • Search for "Space Mountain Music" by Bugsythewaffle. This is what we're lucky enough to have in California. Man, Disney World sucks.

  • @mrsmorgan22 I'm sorry, but please keep your snotty comments to yourself because I don't see a WEDway people mover in Disneyland, I don't see 25 hotels in Disneyland, and I certainly don't see a total of 4 theme parks and 2 waterparks at Disneyland.

  • @2brothersvideos Ew, and I'm glad! Disneyland is the original Disney theme park and still has a cozy, family feel. Disney World is too big and less personal. It's great, but just doesn't compare in my opinion!

  • @2brothersvideos Hm... Soarin' = copied from California. Cinderellabration = copied from Tokyo. Gets Disneyland's old parades when they are done with them. Repeatedly borrows the Disneyland Electrical Parade. And the TTA does not a superior park WDW make.

Now... mrsmorgan22 is just as entitled to her opinions as you are to yours... how about you show a little respect for the opinions that differ from your own and refrain from the ad hominem attacks huh? Show a little class.

  • @mycroft16 In all I comented I did not say one park was better than the other. Also, she could have said her opinion in a more kind matter.

  • @mycroft16 If she wants to talk about how great the DL version is, why doesn't she go to a video about that Space Mountain? She shouldn't have commented badly about Disney World on a video about Disney World. Why did I insult Disneyland? She insulted Disney World. By the way, Tower of Terror at Disneyland, copied from Disney World. I apologize for the rudeness. I was just backing up WDW. They are both Disney attractions and obviously both great because they come from one source- Disney!

  • @2brothersvideos No need to apologize. It wasn't rude. Neither was her post. You are entitled to your opinion as much as she is to hers. She didn't insult Disney World. She merely made the comment that the music sounds like it's from a really bad 90s sitcom. Just because Disney does it does not make it great. Even Walt wasn't naive as to that.

She didn't want to talk about how great the DL version was... she wanted to post her opinion about the WDW version in comparison to the DL version.

  • @mycroft16 Truce?

  • @2brothersvideos lol. sure. Well, we definitely helped this guys comment count.

  • @2brothersvideos yeah but disneyworld copied thunder mountain, pirates, haunted mansion etc.

  • This. Is. HORRIBLE! Our Disneyland Space Mountain soundtrack is so much better. This is cheesy, lame and makes the ride sound like an ABC after school special. In the 80s. That got scrapped and didn't actually air because it SUCKED.

  • @mrsmorgan22 YEAH MRSMORGAN22 YOU SAID IT!!!

  • This is a club mix, the music for the California version is a score. I have to say this just does not sound good for Space Mountain at all. This brings up some really corny 80s images in my head. It doesn't sound like space at all... it sounds like something from Ferris Bueller, or any other 80s comedy. Or Beverly Hills Cop even. Really wrong direction for the on board audio I think.

  • I've rode Space Mountain a few times already with this new soundtrack and I have to say it adds SO MUCH depth to the ride that was missing but didn't know it was there! Love it!! I can't see myself enjoying the ride again without it.

  • @AllypWDW I agree, and all these ppl on here saying they hate it have probably never gone on Space with the new music. Ooh by the way people, space in Florida does not have as many problems as does the crappy version here in California, regardless of the soundtrack. Why do you think it closed early for ghost galaxy all last week?

  • @disneylanddude05 the one at isneyland is just as fun.

  • Sounds kinda corny

  • Ack! What the heck is that? I agree with @fyieroni88 that it sounds like something from the 80's but to me it sounds more like one of those crappy instructional videos from back then. Sigh...I miss the Dick Dale music.

  • It fits quite well with the overall theme of SM/Star Port 75- not scary, not deep- and I'm quite interested in seeing the whole package next spring-

  • I think it will be a fun addition to the ride. I look forward to when we are back to hear how it is on the ride. I would love to see a video shot on the ride to see how the rider hears the music. Thanks for sharing as always!

  • @KDFanPre91 - Hi there! We do have video on the ride, as well as on the People Mover.

    Thanks!

    Denise

  • @JeffLangeDVD I found the other video. thank you so much!

  • ...Weird. It sounds like an 80s video game to me. It's no Michael Giacchino but I guess it will do.

    =/

  • I really like it. I think it's also difficult to judge hearing out of context. The haters who have posted probably haven't ridden the ride with the music so IMO their opinion means nothing but pointless YouTube comment banter. Looking forward to checking this out myself to form a real opinion!

  • This music sound like club music! If it werent for the tittle, i would never associate this with Space Mountain. for the most part its terrible. Think about youre outer space journey with that playing in the back. It only started sounding a bit like a Space mountain at 2:13

  • It's no Dick Dale either. I hate to be too critical of the artist, but it sounds very ... public domain. Sorry to say I'm not a fan. I think I'd prefer the wind in my ears.

  • sounds like test track music

  • It doesn't sound like Michael Giacchino composed this time around.

  • COOL!!!!!
