It should've been 6-1 6-3, but this once again shows Serena's her own worst enemy. Credit to Azarenka though for fighting, because she got smacked by Serena. I'm curious to see how Aza will respond, winning a slam and becoming nr1, there's a risk for the Ivanovic syndrome.

i do like serena (one of my favourite players) but the more i watch serena i realise, that with out her serve she is like a computer without a hard drive =/. She depends on it way too much, she needs too find a backup if a serve isn't working for her cause its costing her matches being so reliant on it as shown in the final. That being said hope she wins AO =).

I was watching it and I was like....did wozniacki really just won that...then I realized that woz just maintains her level from begining to end, if she can just hang in there with you, you are going to lose pase stamina and consistancy...she is just someone I would not enjoy playing, cuz i like to be agrewssive, but if she just keeps puting them back in, ill eventually make an error and get frustrated....heck i wud cuss her out rofl

Azarenka had no play on the ball, made no complaint, and screams herself (though not as loud, but VERY long) on most shots. In the Stosur match, Stosur made eye contact with the ref. The same one in her DOHA match against Kuzzie. Kuzzie laughed and asked to replay the point. So, it all depends. Stosur wanted that game, and she deserved it.

I watched this match and a Serena fan I really wanted her to be tested and was tested & oh boy she passed the test with flying colors. Folks Serena doesnt like to gave away points, not games, not sets, and certainly not matches. I expect her to win this whole thing like she did in 08 without dropping a set.
