The US army trains just as hard as the guys in these propaganda photos, what you don't see are the Chinese army shooting civilians on the Tibet border, which is the only combat they have seen in the last 30 years. The US army trains just as hard as the guys in these propaganda photos, what you don't see are the Chinese army shooting civilians on the Tibet border, which is the only combat they have seen in the last 30 years. The US military would easily take out the Chinese in a conventional war, for the simple fact that the Chinese people dream of the day they can have the freedoms they have become exposed to in the west, and at the first sign of the Army being defeated abroad their would be an uprising.

The only thing china has on us is man power. That is it. Their tech is 20 years behind any modern Army especially the U.S. Their nukes are not a threat either. We have GBIs (Ground Based Interceptors, basiclly a huge non nuclear ballistic missile that hits another one), PAC 3 and Ageis missiles. All can destroy a nuke before it reaches its target. @TheSgtsteiner Persian Gulf War was 20 years ago! That was the very beginning of the defense missile system. Do you think the U.S. with its huge R&D budget has made any improvements in 20 years? Do you think the U.S. learned anything in 20 years? Also just remember computers were not as advanced as today. Do you think that may have something to do with technology advancing so rapidly today? I thought Brits were smarter than this?

@TheSgtsteiner The Patriot Missile System was new in the Gulf War. It was a test project and they learned alot. Most people 20 years ago did NOT have cell phones or computers. @TheSgtsteiner That Patriot System did work some, but mostly it was new and experimental and was being tested. The important thing is that it provided Isreal comfort to NOT attack and fracture the coalition, and to give the U.S. citizens at home and apparently the Bris at home some comfort. It also told Saddam that we have the capability to shoot down some missiles. I noticed that you did not mention that the U.S. destroyed Saddams military on the ground in 100 hours! I know I was there.

@TheSgtsteiner They have that problem has been solved with the Patroit3. There are even more advanced missile systems than the Patriot, plus ground and air laser systems. Most likely Chinese missiles would be knocked down before they ever left Chinese air-space. Not to mention star wars satellites and mac12 space uav's.

@TheSgtsteiner First off scuds are short range missiles giving them faster time to hit their targets. Second it is impossible to stop every fucking single one in mid flight. Third we don't always find every site. They do in fact work very efficiently. Sure one or two get through but the majority are stopped minimizing damage and loss of American life. We yanks by the way not only helped their, also WW1 and WW2 and gave valuable supplies during the Falkland Island crisis + Intel.

At any rate, there is NO DIFFERENCE in terms of physical training in ANY of the countries what so ever. ALL soldiers are trained in back-breaking and challenging circumstances. They are all fed well and trained well.
Only difference though, nearly ALL American teenagers drink and smoke weed before joining the military. MOST Chinese teenagers don't.

I had some egg rolls earlier today. Best thing China has made. That and general tso's chicken. They did make a couple things that would survive a war. Egg rolls and G tso's chicken will live on longer than the Chinese civilization. The large marching band that they have wouldn't survive a flood.
