Loved this magic loop method and ran out to purchase some sock yarn, got home and realized how thin it was. Can I use the same number of stitches called for in pattern or do I need to increase them? You could email me privately if there r changes that need to be made. Also, is it necessary to block socks? Thanks Staci
@NonnaCorsi The pattern that goes with these videos is really intended to be knit from worsted weight yarn (much thicker than sock yarn). That makes it easier for beginning sock knitters to understand and see what they are learning. I recommend you save that sock yarn that you bought for your next pair of socks. Altering the pattern to accommodate different yarn and needles is no easy task, and you'll have a tougher time learning the techniques with thinner yarn.
These videos are great! I bought an addi turbo long ago, but was afraid to try out the magic loop technique. You have really helped me to understand, now. Not so hard. I'm going to start a pair right now!
@TheRosieconway These needles are awesome, huh? I'm using the Addi Click Interchangeable set. Google it, and you'll find retailers. The set includes multiple needle sizes and cord lengths, and sells for about $160 US.
Thank you thank you thank you very much for this tutorial!! You are awesome!

@verypinkknits Also - it isn't really necessary to block socks, but it makes them look nicer if you're presenting them as a gift. :)
