These are real Hutsul Ukrainians and their guest someone from the USA . Just like a lot of people worldwide there are those who love to have a bit of 'Christmas Cheer' during Christmas time.
And if they are Hutsuls (Carpatian mountain area people) they are and always were Ukrainians not Polaks.
The Poles would like to claim that the Hotsuls are of Polish descent however, that is not the case.
Vsim hto skazav sho tse insha mova - ganba, vse taka sama mova. Vkognomu regioni Ukraini e svoi osoblivcosti v movi, ale ne naskilki velili shob ih ne zrozumiti
Actually hutsuls considere themselves Ukrainian, u are right they were not originally, but they assimilated, and this is simply how they talk in far western Ukraine where i lived. its just a little different from standard Ukrainian.
They are Ukrainian, just with Western Ukrainian accent. Это украинцы из Западной Украины. Я их землячка. Если надо, я и без акцента заговорю, и на русском и на украинском. Давайте не будем обсуждать, который из них - "смесь". Раньше была Киевская Русь и там разговаривали на "смесь".
I assume it is very very eastern Ukraine.. Gutsuly rulyat :)
Personally I think that it's not true Ukrainian language.. They speak Ukraininan-Hungarian-Polish-Moldavianian with horrible accent. They're not true ukraininan
You're right - Western, I've made a mistake. But I don't agree with you.. Hutsuls have nothing familiar with Ukraininans. Historically they moved to Ukraine long time ago, they live on Carpathian mountains but they're not ukraininan. The language they speak differs from "normal" ukraininan veeeery much.
"no rrrrrr, no problem" lol ;o) Oi, Amerikanski. hahaha. Us Anglisky-speakers need some type of "rrrrr" sound in English...just so we don't sound funky in practically every other country. It comes naturally to most babies. We do we supress it?? lol
