I´m impressed, really! Voice is beautiful! Needs technique up to voice quality. If keeps on singing this way will damage his material for sure! Good phrasing and a very handsome young man! I wish success.
Impressive voice, but for me it was labored and sluggish. The lack of any soft phrases robs it of any mystery or excitement. I suppose I am just biased against the overly-trained voice, but I think it is much more interesting to hear a dynamic, natural voice with true emotions than one that always tries to sound as big as it possibly can.
I LOVE your interpretation and phrasing. I, as well as many other singers I am sure, kind of turn this piece into a pissing contest and that is not what it's about. Bravo, sir!
do something with the long notes. the usual thing is to crescendo descrescendo, ex. hallowed beeeee thy name. or a slow descrescendo. and don't be afraid to take more breaths. "do not sacrifice the voice on the altar of breath." the high note on "ever" is not well placed, you have to open your mouth more and think "bounce it off the dome of the mouth". relax, don't fidget so much. and after page 2, you don't need the score.
@wattever333 Good suggestions on dynamics, but if Mr. Jones' voice is a natural voice, just what does it take to make a trained, operatic sound to you? He uses nothing but full-throated vibrato throughout. It robs the listener's ears from sensing any of the emotion which I am sure Mr. Jones is feeling.
@Baritone45 sorry but those are not the topics that I brought up, probably because those were not my concerns. If you want to start a new topic, feel free to post without replying to people who wrote on different topics.
So I'm searching YouTube for this version of The Lord's Prayer and find your posting! Great Job. Now, it's almost 2am and I'm still up watching your other videos. Very talented and funny! Gotta get some sleep now...
Beautiful1 Make sure that you don't try too hard for the "opera voice". Don't confuse darkness with swallowed vowels. Don't tense your whole body on the high note! GREAT job though! (brighten up a bit)
:| You left my eyes teary. XD. Anyway, amazing job. I hope I can learn how to sing like that. You're a bas, right? I take it. :)

Nice job.... I would like to hear a little more covered tone on the high note but other than that it is a nice kavalier baritone quality and sound.

wow, phenomenal voice, but not sure about the pianist, he should follow you better on some of the dramatic high notes.
