I was litterally sobbing during this video. SOBBING. I have never been a fan of Anne Boleyn but I have always been interested in her story.
I really want to see this whole movie- but that part that she has with Elizabeth before she is taken away makes me cry like a baby. It's just soooo sad.
Whenever I think of Henry and Anne- one quote comes to mind:
"Everythings fine and good when the mistress is a mistress, when the mistress starts acting like a wife- that's when the problems start."
Personally- I belive the only thing Anne was guilty of was ambition- who wasn't in those days? Henry was just a huge douchebag. I love this movie, I got to watch it in English Class. It was awsome. :)
She was innocent there is many things that make her innocent from henry saying they where not really married to, the law that confussions under torture could not be used as charges.
maybe their age is accurate , but the Tudors are historically very close , closer then any other movie ! of course the age between Henry and Anne in the Tudors is different from the reality , but the director of the movie explained it and other little things ! but historically it is almost perfect in Tudors they even use quotes and famous statements of Anne or Henry etc ( believe me I study history at the university )
Anne of The Thousand Days is the very best portrayal of Henry and Anne. The history is accurate, their ages, how she hated him at first. I love The Tudors but it's not historically correct.
This is one of my most favorite movies of all time, Richard Burton (Oh my GOD!!!!!) and Genevieve Bujold, who is Canadian (Yeah!!!!) are simply pure talent.

Anne of the Thousand Days was a boring piece of crap which rightly flopped. Richard Burton was a talentless wooden overacting ham with a horrid chain smoker's voice. I'm glad he died at only 58.
I can honestly say that this is one of my most favorite videos on YouTube. I LOVE this movie to death - I really think the writers and the lovely actress brought Anne Boleyn to life in a way that she actually was back in the day. I especially love the song choice - it was unexpected but works so well with the entire concept. BRAVO!!!
This is by far my favorite tudor video right now, with the best concept. Great job! You should remake it including the actual Thomas Wyatt from "The Tudors"
safiyo6 , Most Historians believe that Anne Boleyn was inocent , Her sister in law who accused her and her brother George of a sexual relationship confessed she lied, On the day of her beheading in 1542 I quote " "Good Christians, God has permitted me to suffer this shameful doom as punishment for having contributed to my husband's death. I falsely accused him of loving in an incestuous manner, his sister, Queen Anne Boleyn. For this I deserve to die. But I am guilty of no other crime"
If anyone could be accused of promiscuity, it was surely the glutton Henry VIII who had almost all of his wives killed after he lost interest in them.
Only two of all his wives were beheaded, Anne Boleyn, and Catharine Howard, who deserved it because she screwed many men openly while married to Henry. So she was beheaded for being a slut. Hardly having 'almost all of his wives killed after he lost interest in them'
After watching the entire video, I must say it's very well done. But the movie from which the clips are from romanticizes the situation a great deal. Henry looked to be wonderfully tender, Anne always feisty and cool as a cucumber and also to be a caring, attentive mother. I doubt it was half as pretty in truth.
What incredible irony lol. "She will be loved." Beheaded, more like. And I believe Henry was smitten with her, but did not love her. He was just very attracted to her.
Other than that, most of the lyrics curiously fit.
Actually if you look at most of his letters and actions, everything points to that he really did love her at least at one point. THat's what makes it so disturbing, could you love someone and then, regardless of what happened between you, cut their head off?
actually, he had the marriage annulled based on her supposed (and actually almost historically proven) adultery, possibly even with her brother(!) most probably an attempt at getting a male heir from SOMEwhere
many scholars believe she was innocent of all the charges against her. when she went to mass for the last time she said in front of the cross that she was innocent of all the crimes against her. thats a really big thing considering how religious people back than were
I really don't think she was pregnant when they beheaded her... in fact by most accounts she had suffered a miscarriage only a little while before her trial and beheading... I doubt the King was still paying attention to her at that point when he had Lady Seymour at his side.

man englands history is screwed up if i was anne boleyn i would have closed my eyes to henrys affairs with his whores. she should have done that and have been less flirtatious with others and only with henry i know the charges werent true though
In this day and age our view is that it's going way to far beheading someone for adultery, they didn't kill anyone. How could he do that when she had a child to raise? I agree with supergirl011.
yeah I know that ... she was innocent when it came to adultery and incest and everything else she was accused of ... but she wasn't innocent when she climbed into the king's bed ... I'm almost positive about that :P
Amazing

It's treason, that's why.
Besides, Elizabeth had a whole army of servants to do her bidding plus she was still a royal child (although a bastard)
ANd Henry did once say that sons were hard to come by but wives can be found anywhere.
